The one-year anniversary for Pathfinder’s second edition (2e) is coming up on August 1st, and almost coinciding with that is the launch of a new Advanced Player’s Guide supplement, which officially releases later this week on July 30th.
Amongst five new ancestries and five new heritages for any ancestry is the addition of playable catfolk. These feline-humanoids featured as add-ons outside the game’s basic rules in the past, but with this new supplement they will be brought in line with the official 2e ruleset.
Pathfinder authors Logan Bonner, Lyz Liddell, and Mark Seifter went into some detail around what can be expected from this race:
Catfolk view themselves as chosen guardians of natural places in the world and are often recklessly brace, even in the face of overwhelming opposition.
You can order the physical book of Pathfinder’s Advanced Player’s Guide directly from developer Paizo’s website for $49.99 (available from right now) or $14.99 for a PDF equivalent (available from this Thursday, 30th July).
