Square Enix has always pimped out Final Fantasy VII to the merchandise store, with numerous t-shirts, action figures, and posters based on the game. Final Fantasy VII has even had some bizarre merchandise, like official Cloud Strife & Sephiroth perfume....

Activision Blizzard has announced that title Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy sold over 10 million units. The publisher made several revelations during their recent earnings call, announcing a “record year” as it relates to profit, but also that they would be reducing their headcount by 800. “Over the last few years, many of our non-development teams expanded to support various needs,” President J. Allen Brack said in a letter to staff that was obtained by Kotaku....

DIRT 5, the upcoming racing video game developed and published by Codemasters and set to be released on November 6, recently revealed its latest batch of new cars and locations. The fourteenth game in the Colin McRae Rally series has been steadily unveiling new details for fans via an ongoing series of online clips. This week’s clip showcases the rallycross cars, including supercars from the FIA World Rallycross Championship. On the outside, rallycross race cars resemble standard European hatchbacks like the Peugeot 208 and the Citroen DS3, yet inside they’ve been stripped and redesigned for enhanced performance on all terrains....

New footage for Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo 2: Resurrected was revealed during the Microsoft showcase at E3 2021. It will launch on September 23, 2021. The video showed off the improvements made to the classic dungeon crawling action RPG. The game is optimized for Xbox Series X|S and will be playable at 4K 60 FPS; it also includes fully remastered 7.1 Dolby Surround audio. With The Falcon and the Winter Soldier set to arrive at Disney+ this coming March, Marvel Studios has released some new images from the show to add to the excitement. While the images mostly show on Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson and Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes in various scenes, one image, in particular, appears to confirm the arrival of a key character from Falcon’s comic book lore. Pictured on set with Mackie and director Kari Skoglang is Adepero Oduye, the newest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe....
