It might not be the type of in-depth demonstration that gamers were hoping for, but Sony has released a new trailer highlighting the PS4’s user interface. More specifically, the trailer shows how players will able to use social interaction to improve their experience. We heard a little bit about the PS4’s UI, and its various social features, but this trailer helps put a lot of those ideas into action. It is important to note that not all of these actions may be running in real time (especially downloads), but that’s to be expected....

Noting that it was going to be his first time playing the game without the developer’s guidance, Jagneaux was also dropped into gameplay where over 150 hours had already been logged. A look at New World’s end-game content awaited with a healthy inventory, mastered weapons and many attribute points to spend. A couple of years removed from its release, and ARK: Survival Evolved is showing no signs of slowing down. Developer Studio Wildcard has continued to add content to ARK: Survival Evolved on a regular basis, with the latest patch adding a slew of new creatures, items, vehicles, and structures to the game, including toilets and motorboats. Patch 258 for ARK: Survival Evolved introduces five new creatures to the game: the hyena-like Hyaenodon; a massive beast that looks like a mix between an anteater and a sasquatch called Megatherium; a Komodo dragon-inspired creature named Megalania; an ugly sea monster called Hesperornis; and a strange tyrannosaurus offshoot that can damage enemies or buff teammates with a special roar attack named Yutyrannus....

Director James Gunn took to Twitter to firmly deny rumors about his upcoming sequel to Suicide Squad. Referring to a news post about a possible appearance of Batman villain Poison Ivy, Gunn criticized the site for reporting baseless forum posts. James Gunn’s reaction comes after speculation about a supposed series of leaks posted on popular forums 4chan and reddit. The “leaks” included a full cast list with Alice Braga as Poison Ivy, Peter Davidson as Savant and Taika Waititi as Copperhead as well as a full outline of the plot....

The Drawn to Life series was pretty popular back in the days of the Wii and Nintendo DS for the way it gave players the ability to design their own hero and platforming elements in order to navigate colorful 2D worlds. Since then, however, those original games have largely fallen into obscurity, but it’s possible that the release of Drawn to Life: Two Realms this week could see them make a return on modern systems....

In recent years, it seems like most loot oriented games have fallen into a similar pattern as they ultimately chased the current market leader, Destiny 2. Bungie’s major advantage over its competition to this point is largely time as Destiny 2 really struggled in its first year with issues like end game content. However, with development support from Activision studios over the the first couple of years as well as Bungie’s continued hard work at constantly evolving the experience, Destiny 2 has really blossomed into a game that grabs players and refuses to let them go....

Outriders features 14 unique Expeditions that players can farm to earn legendaries and other endgame items. Completing them as quickly as possible is best if you’re attempting to farm items quickly, although the New Horizon update removed Expedition timers altogether. The Drought Palace is easily one of the worst Expeditions to farm in Outriders. This mission has a tough timer, includes a section with five minibosses, has an obelisk section, and costs Drop Pod Resources to even attempt....

Blizzard has announced the dates for the annual Overwatch Anniversary event. From Tuesday, May 19 to Tuesday, June 9, Overwatch fans can participate in all the Anniversary event activities, which, like usual, will include a variety of new skins players can add to their collection. So far, Blizzard has officially revealed two of the skins Overwatch players can unlock as part of this year’s Anniversary event. This includes the Little Red Ashe skin, which makes Ashe look like Little Red Riding Hood, and Bob look like the Big Bad Wolf....

As a thank you to its many players, the team at Blizzard has created an Overwatch anniversary trailer. The footage celebrates the game by taking a look back at its first year. In its brief history, Overwatch has managed to achieve quite a bit. About a couple of weeks ago, Blizzard Entertainment officially confirmed that its first Overwatch LEGO set will feature none other than the team-based shooter’s resident damage-driven omnic hero Bastion. Now, though, it looks as if the cat has been let out of the bag when it comes to the rest of the forthcoming LEGO line, as a slew of different LEGO sets inspired by the game have leaked online through the retailer Target’s registry app....

Time is running out for those who can claim their $65 from Sony as part of a settlement involving a breach of their own warranty when they removed the ability to install other kinds of operating system onto the older models of the PlayStation 3. The “OtherOs” feature was exclusive to the earlier firmware of the older models of the PlayStation 3, most notably the “Phat” model. OtherOs allowed you to create a partition on your internal PlayStation 3 hard drive, which you could then install operating systems like Linux or FreeBSD on so that you could turn your PlayStation 3 into a personal computer....

Since Wonder Woman premiered in 2017 to great critical acclaim, Patty Jenkins’ name became synonymous with the character. Before Jenkins can me along, Wonder Woman had endured years in development as Warner Bros. searched for the proper director to successfully carry Diana Prince to movie theaters. Back in 2015 when Jenkins took over Wonder Woman, another notable female director had walked away from the project as Michelle MacLaren (Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones) cited creative differences with the studio....

With school shootings becoming an increasingly common occurrence in the United States, people are understandably looking for ways to prevent the senseless violence. There is plenty of debate on how that can be done, but one Pennsylvania state politician, Christopher B. Quinn (R), believes one way to accomplish that goal is by imposing a 10% sales tax on violent video games. Quinn introduced House Bill 2705 to the Pennsylvania state legislature back on September 25, but it is just now getting attention online....

A bunch of new gameplay videos have been released for upcoming Monster Hunter Rise, one of which revealed a creature called Escuregot that can assist you during battle. The animal is part of a group called Hunting Helpers – creatures that provide various buffs if you can capture one in the wild. Escurgot provides its tamer with a passive healing effect – a boon that will be incredibly beneficial while facing off against the game’s terrifying new monsters....

Final Fantasy’s Behemoth is in Monster Hunter World and is ripe for hunting. It’s no secret to longtime players that the armor set made from Behemoth parts, the Drachen, is one of the most powerful in the game. Just ask the many Monster Hunter YouTubers who call the Drachen armor straight-up overpowered. But there’s a lot of new players coming to the game due to recent sales and the upcoming expansion....

By all accounts, the Stadia streaming service hasn’t gone down as a huge success, especially when pitted against the likes of Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo. It may not exactly be the world’s worst gaming platform, but it hasn’t left much of an impression on the community. However, Google is now looking to launch 100 new titles to keep the system relevant in this modern gaming era. According to reports, Google is promising to keep the Stadia alive with a slew of titles, which it says will be hitting its streaming service later on this year....
