The time has come to reveal the first Dungeons & Dragons book for 2021, and Wizards of the Coast decided to surprise fans with Candlekeep Mysteries. The March 16 release will give Dungeon Masters 17 different one-shot adventures that they can run as a series or drop in the middle of another campaign. Due to the anthology format, the book also allowed Wizards to hire a slew of promising new voices that lend greater diversity and creativity to D&D....

Lego’s Bionicle was once an incredibly popular line of toys for children before it fell into obscurity, giving way to newcomers like Ninjago, but one group of fans has done anything but forget it. In fact, it appears that a fan-made open world project based on Bionicle has been in development for six years, just recently now being revealed to the world. The game is titled Bionicle: Quest for Mata Nui and is set during the first year of Bionicle, before the plethora of expansions and material Lego would release for it....

Rockstar Games has announced that a brand new trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available this week, givings fans their third ever look at the western open world shooter. The new trailer is due to drop this Wednesday, May 2, 2018, and will be available on both YouTube and the official Rockstar Games website. While not much about Red Dead Redemption 2 has been shown so far, the previous trailers have revealed that players will don the boots of an outlaw named Arthur Morgan who has ties with the van der Linde gang from the first game....

Aside from a fancy new title and the Winter gun camo, premium Call of Duty: ELITE members haven’t received much from their subscription. Activision plans to rectify that, as today sees the first Content Drop for Modern Warfare 3. In line with Activision’s nine month DLC plan, Xbox 360 players who boot up Modern Warfare 3 today can look forward to two new maps, Piazza and Liberation. Piazza places players in an Italian village suited for close quarters combat, while Liberation is a much larger map set in a New York park, providing an advantage to those who prefer long range fire fights....

Fans of The Wolf Among Us will have to wait a bit longer for any major reveals on the future of the series. According to Telltale itself, there will be no news about The Wolf Among Us 2 shown at The Game Awards this evening. Telltale stated that there is still more work to be done before the studio is comfortable to give people a sneak-peek into the next chapter of Fabletown....

PETA claims to fight for animal rights, but do they? Outside of celebrity contracts and picketing Animal Crossing, the controversial group actually does more harm than good. In fact, they kill thousands of animals per year - and the number only gets higher. In terms of animal activism, there are better figureheads out there, and PETA should be held accountable for its false marketing and systematic animal cruelty. As such, a game where you play as a killer shark ends up being a better case for conservation than PETA has ever made....
