Blizzard only recently announced that Overwatch’s next hero, Orisa, is ready for release in a few days time, but the team is certainly not slowing down its post-launch support any time soon. It was just revealed that a new patch is already up for testing in the Public Test Region (PTR). The release of the latest PTR patch was revealed in a new update over at the official Overwatch blog. This update will see a big change to how Assault and Assault/Escort maps are played out in Competitive Play, as well as a number of significant balance tweaks for the shooter’s resident DJ, Lucio....

Returnal is certainly shaping up to be an interesting game, and the latest trailer for Housemarque’s first AAA title has only added to the intrigue. While the main gameplay loop of Returnal will focus on fast-paced third person shooter action, it seems like several first-person sections will see the story explored from a horror perspective. This is not the first time that Returnal’s horror influences have been felt, as the game’s previous trailer at February’s State of Play showed off a PT-like section of the game....

Nier Reincarnation launches in Japan on February 18, so fans there will be able to jump in soon. Those of us still waiting in the west though don’t even have a date yet, but the mobile title’s director Daichi Matsukawa shared an update on the status of the project. In addition to some smaller announcements, Nvidia’s GDC 2017 livestream featured CEO Jen-Hsun Huang revealing the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti video card. Oculus has given a price cut to its Oculus Rift and Touch controller bundles. The virtual reality company, which is owned by Facebook, announced that its Oculus Rift and Touch bundle is now $598, down from the previous price of $798. For those who already own an Oculus Rift, the Touch controllers are now $99 (down from $199), while an additional Oculus Sensor now costs $59 (down from $79.) In a post on the Oculus website, the company explains that this price cut has been made in an effort to make “PC VR as affordable as possible....

A small, but unexpected change has recently occurred in the Overwatch PTR. The Rate This Match feature, which has been a staple of Overwatch since it launched a year ago, has been removed from the game as a part of the most recent PTR patch 1.12. While not everything that comes through the PTR becomes permanent, much of it does, which means the feature’s removal will likely go live soon....

Monster Hunter Rise came out across the world on March 26, 2021. The action RPG video game was developed and published by Capcom and is exclusive (right now) to the Nintendo Switch. It is the sixth mainline installment in the Monster Hunter series.
