As if it wasn’t hard enough to join a multiplayer game in Outriders, it now seems that some griefers have been kicking squadmates out in Expeditions before they can collect their loot. Expeditions is Outrider’s endgame mode, which tasks three players with revisiting certain parts of the map and fighting through tons of enemies to reach a drop pod with some sweet loot in it;. kind of like Destiny’s Strikes. The tier system continually increases the difficulty of these Expeditions in return for better loot....

It took more than 5 years for Sony and Microsoft to finally replace their current generation consoles, finally giving fans their first look at the future of gaming. The Ouya, on the other hand, will not wait nearly as long. In fact, the development team behind the Ouya console plans to start work on a successor in the hopes of releasing it next year. Nevada sportsbooks will now accept wagers for Call of Duty League after approval from the Nevada Gaming Control Board. The move comes directly after the board lifted regulations and offered exemptions for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends, Dota 2, iRacing, and Overwatch. Licensees will now accept CoD wagers for head-to-head, match winners, and overall winners for the rest of the 2020 season. For bookies that wish to offer CDL wagers, intent must be declared to the Enforcement Division before they are allowed to do so....

Following the controversial conclusion to Mass Effect 3, it wasn’t long before fans began to speculate on what BioWare has planned for the future of the franchise in Mass Effect 4. Nielsen has published its annual ‘Most Anticipated Holiday Games’ survey, revealing that Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare are the top of gamers’ wish lists. Every year, research group Nielsen conducts a study using a variety of metrics to determine what the most anticipated holiday games are, and after surveying 6,000 people aged 7-54 over a one month period, the 2016 holiday season results are in. Successful sports simulation games largely seem to find success at the blockbuster level. While smaller, weirder sports titles like the NBA Jam series shine from time to time, games that try to alter the tried-and-true formulas of traditional sports are far more often overshadowed by FIFA, NBA 2K and other marquee franchises. Following the recent and controversial banning of nine year old Zenon from Fortnite, the game’s most popular streamer, Ninja, has decided to weigh in on the situation. Ninja’s opinion on the matter is basically the same as everyone else, that Epic Games was far too harsh on the nine year old boy given the nature of his offense. For those that don’t keep up with Fortnite news, Zenon is a nine year old streamer from Brazil who was recently dealt a harsh 1,459 day (4 year) ban for entering a ranked arena mode match on stream....

Even in an industry where launch stock shortages are incredibly common, the release of Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3090 and 3080 has still managed to surprise gamers with a combination of very limited stock and incredibly high demand.
