While plot details for The Matrix 4 are currently unknown, Neil Patrick Harris has shared some details on the film’s unique production. Harris, who joined the acclaimed sci-fi franchise last year, didn’t feel like he working on a traditional blockbuster because franchise co-creator Lana Wachowski made the filming feel “very intimate.” The newest installment in the Matrix franchise is being directed by Wachowski and will see Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss reprise their roles as Neo and Trinity, respectively....

Netflix has released an inside look at The Cuphead Show!, highlighting the animation, voice actors, and more. There are many indie games released in a given year, and a select few make a notable presence in the industry. One such game is Cuphead. A peculiar favorite of fanboys and cosplayers, the BloodRayne franchise has spawned a couple of passable third-person action games and three awful movies. Notwithstanding, the titular character clearly has some appeal and developer WayForward Technologies looks to capitalize on this with its sequel, Bloodrayne: Betrayal. To that end, publisher Majesco Entertainment has released some nice-looking screenshots of this vampire-themed game. Unlike the previous titles, BloodRayne: Betrayal will be a 2D side-scroller beat ’em up with updated pixel graphics....

Unlike some of the other Eeveelutions in New Pokemon Snap, Jolteon is incredibly difficult to find. At one point, I actually wondered whether it was in the game at all - I had already got four star photos of half the Eeveelutions before I got so much as a glimpse of everybody’s favourite sparky boy from Gen 1. Fortunately, Jolteon is in New Pokemon Snap, and making your way towards it comes with some pretty neat rewards of its own....

A new trailer for horror-shooter called Quantum Error premiered during the Future Games Show today, and it’s coming to PS4 and PS5. Something terrible has happened at the offshore research facility Monad Quantum. A distress call is sent out to the Garboa Fire Department in San Francisco as the entire facility is engulfed in flames. A team is sent in on a mission to rescue as many people as possible from the burning research facility....

Theories and speculation concerning Microsoft’s next console (Xbox 720 or whatever it may be called) are still far more common than concrete information, but one patent filed by the company is turning heads. If Microsoft achieves its goal of becoming an entertainment hub within the home, that television/satellite DVR you’ve got may become unnecessary. With the recent success that the Xbox 360 has found both as a gaming device and as a brand new motion control interface, the developers at Microsoft are obviously not taking their feet off the gas....

Animal Crossing players have their own Nintendo Switch and even chair, but there’s plenty of other mascots and flagship titles that could easily helm similar custom paint jobs. Square Enix and Google will collaborate on releasing Outriders, the upcoming sci-fi RPG shooter from People Can Fly, on Stadia at an unspecified point next year. The release will follow Outriders’ debut on PC and both current and next-gen platforms, and the news came alongside a new trailer, titled “Journey Into The Unknown.” Following up on People Can Fly’s work on the Gears of War series and Bulletstorm, Outriders is a new take on the tried-and-true looter-shooter that appears to be setting itself apart with a rougher, more serious tone compared to the genre’s biggest games like Destiny and Borderlands....

There’s just something about Overwatch and Pokemon that seems to make the two video game franchises fit together well. Fans of Blizzard’s multiplayer shooter just can’t resist creating crossovers with Nintendo’s pocket monster series. After one fan turned Overwatch characters into Pokemon, another has imagined what would happen if it was the other way around.
