Nier Replicant S Set Design Is A Beautiful Diorama

Graphics in video games have evolved to such a point that basically every game is beautiful these days. Whether it be the bustling streets of New York City in Spider-Man, the Wild West vistas of Red Dead Redemption 2, or the dark and terrifying beauty of Demon’s Souls, we’ve reached the point where pretty graphics are the standard, with few being noteworthy....

Peaky Blinders Season 6 Episode 3 Review Gold

Warning: contains spoilers for Peaky Blinders season six episode 3 ‘Gold’. Is this what it takes for Tommy Shelby to learn that he has limitations? What a cruel humbling. Cruellest of course, for Ruby – an innocent victim of being the daughter of “a character in a novel” – and for Lizzie. Natasha O’Keeffe was stunning in that final monologue, collapsed in grief and rage. The women of Peaky Blinders – Ada, Esme and Lizzie – stunned throughout this episode....

Naughty Dog Hopes The Last Of Us Will Redefine Gaming

Games are by nature unrealistic, impractical, and occasionally hokey. It’s why we play them, but they can also be brilliant, deep, engaging pieces of, what some might contest, art - the same qualities we attribute to film, an accepted art form. It’s the same reason we watch films. We like to escape, have fun and engross ourselves in a world outside our own. What makes games different is we get to be the characters and live in their worlds....
