Sometimes it’s good fun, like when Boon is sharing some exciting news about NetherRealm Studios’ plans or Mortal Kombat 11 happenings. But Boon also likes to have fun at his followers’ expense. And right now Boon can’t help but have fun with the Mortal Kombat 11 fans following him that so dearly want Mileena to be added as a DLC character....

Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath’s full story trailer dropped today, revealing three new characters armed with three weapons. Call us crazy, but this sounds like a Pokémon reference. So. Mortal Kombat 11 is getting an expansion. It’ll be story-based, with cinematic sequences telling the player what happens in the events following the end of Mortal Kombat 11’s story mode. Apparently, Shang Tsung will be a central figure. But along with the new story, there are three new characters being added to Mortal Kombat 11’s roster....

With Mileena landing in Mortal Kombat 11 in a few weeks (November 17, to be precise), NetherRealm Studios has finally uploaded a trailer that shows off her revamped moveset and it’s just what you’d expect. The next video game movie set to release is an adaptation of the arcade classic Rampage from San Andreas director Brad Peyton and starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Naomie Harris, and The Walking Dead’s Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Nobuo Uematsu has created some of the most beautiful compositions attributed to video games, that people from all walks of life can’t stop listening to. The Final Fantasy composer’s theme for character Terra Branford - from Final Fantasy 6 - has been altered by a renowned producer that reimagined the piece in the style of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Composer and producer Alex Moukala posted a tweet that exhibited his version of Terra’s Theme, accompanied by musical instruments that can usually be heard within the Skyrim soundtrack....

For the most part, Valentine’s Day in video games is full of cute events, fun cards or art, and uplifting tweets, but Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us 2 isn’t most video games. In a tweet from the official Naughty Dog Twitter account itself, the developer reveals that the Infected also celebrate Valentine’s Day, and as expected it is anything but pleasant. Netflix has found its lead actors for the upcoming anime series Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness. The actors who voiced the characters of Claire Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy in the Resident Evil 2 remake game, which released in 2019, will be reprising their roles in the CGI-animated series. In an official announcement posted on Twitter, the streaming service released the first poster for the series along with the confirmation that the familiar voices of Nick Apostolides and Stephanie Panisello will return as the Resident Evil 2 remake’s Kennedy and Redfield, respectively....

Moments ago, developer Sledgehammer Games informed the video game world that some Sunday, May 4, 2014, they will be unveiling their first fully-in-house developed project, the next Call of Duty. The release of the RTX 30 series’ flagship cards, the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090, has been so intensely criticized that Nvidia issued an apology for mishandling the cards’ launch, and pulled both products from its own digital storefront. Rare, the studio responsible for Sea of Thieves, is currently developing Everwild – now revealed to be another game as a service.
