Npd Ps4 Outsells Xbox One In February But Xb1 Earns More Total Revenue

February console sales numbers are in and once again the PS4 is outselling the Xbox One. Sony’s console hit big numbers this past month, while its competitor didn’t fall quite that far behind - moving about 90% of what the PS4 did. Unfortunately, last month’s NPD numbers do not include an official tally for the PS4. We do know that the Xbox One sold about 258,000 units, though, so its fair to assume Sony’s console sales were somewhere in the 286,000 range....

Nvidia Apologizes For Botched Rtx 3080 Launch

Early Thursday morning, Nvidia launched the first of its 3000 Series graphics cards in the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080. To say it was challenging launch would be an understatement. Nvidia had near-exclusivity to sell the 3080 Founder’s Edition through its own Nvidia storefront. It sold out instantly, with many believing that bot-driven scalpers claimed the entirety of Nvidia’s available cards. Nvidia has now acknowledged issues with the 3080’s launch, issuing an apology....

Outriders Loot Confidence May Take It Far

One of the most concerning things that fans can see from an exciting new game, with a huge amount of hype surrounding it, is a lack of transparency with the developer. It’s always a breath of fresh air when developers like People Can Fly are upfront about delays like on the upcoming Outriders that has a huge amount of hype surrounding it as a “Destiny-killer.” On top of how direct People Can Fly has been about Outriders, the developer has also shown off a good amount of the loot players will be fighting for before the game has even launched....

As of Overwatch’s update on August 13, Mercy entered this limited group....

Panasonic Lumix G5

Our quick take Panasonic Lumix G5 - 4.0 / 5 Design Performance Image Quality To recap The G5 is the most hybrid-like mashup of a compact and DSLR-like camera that we’ve yet seen. There’s lots to like: image quality is decent, controls are never far away, the touchscreen LCD is responsive and power zoom lenses can now be controlled from the camera body. But image quality doesn’t take a giant leap forward, whereas the price does compared to the G3....

Mortal Shell How To Change Shells

Ever since it was announced back in April, it’s been clear that Cold Symmetry’s new action game Mortal Shell wears its Dark Souls influence on its sleeve, hewing very closely in many ways to the formula that made FromSoftware’s series such a hit. Movies Of The Decade How The Mcu Became Cinema S Biggest Franchise

Looking back at the best movies of the decade, there’s one name that can’t help but come up: Marvel Studios. The Disney-owned studio took up a clear 25 per cent of the top 20 as voted for by Den of Geek readers, and blocked out three places in the top five (with Avengers: Endgame, Guardians Of The Galaxy and Avengers: Infinity War). How did Marvel end up like this? Up to 2009, the Marvel name had already been attached to some big-performers – Sony’s Spider-Man, Fox’s X-Men, the studio’s own Iron Man – but it was also complicit in just as many bombs: Spider-Man 3, Elektra, Ghost Rider, Daredevil, a pair of lukewarm Fantastic Fours....

Nasa To Launch Portal 2 Into Space

Many gamers probably thought that last year’s Portal 2 was out of this world. Not only did fans get to return to the dark, depressing depths of Aperture Science, but they got to finish what they started with Chell and GLaDOS. The title even won Game Rant’s 2011 Game of the Year, so there’s no questioning the quality of the game. Apparently NASA thinks that the awesomeness of Valve’s sequel is simply too jam packed with greatness for this world, because they’re launching a ship — with a Portal 2 character engraved on it — into outer space....

New Assault Rifle An 94 Coming To Call Of Duty

Recent leaks from the ProtoWarehouse Discord channel, as well as data helpfully extracted from data miners, suggest the AN-94 assault rifle could be coming to Call of Duty soon. Historically, this actually matches patterns of the franchise, which often tease players with in-game items that would more accurately be found in the next title....
