Overwatch is a game that seems to be continuously changing, as Blizzard attempts to balance the large roster of heroes and maps perfectly. Yesterday, a new update arrived for the title’s PTR that brings with it huge updates to several characters, alongside the Horizon Lunar Colony map, and may see a significant change to the game’s meta. First of all, the popular tank Roadhog has seen a 33% damage decrease to his Scrap Gun, with a 30% fire-rate increase being given to compensate this change....

A Twitter account similar to the one created for Mario’s 35th anniversary has surfaced hinting at Diamond and Pearl remakes. Since 2021 marks 25 years since the release of the very first Pokemon games, fans of the franchise are expecting some big announcement. One of the biggest everyone appears to be waiting for is the reveal that Diamond and Pearl are being remade. More evidence suggesting an official announcement is coming emerged in the form of a mysterious new Twitter account this week....

NBA 2K21 will be available through Xbox Game Pass from March 4, 2021, on both console and the cloud. Just when you think Game Pass can’t get any bigger, Xbox comes along and adds more new titles. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit has received a rating in Korea despite EA not yet officially announcing the game. Another major company has announced its intentions to attend E3 2019. But this time it’s streaming giant Netflix, rather than one of the usual video game publisher suspects. On Twitter, etflix announced its intention to hold a panel as part of E3’s annual Coliseum livestream. The panel will be named “Bringing Your Favorite Shows to Life: Developing Netflix Originals Into Video Games” and Netflix is already teasing its plans for the event....

Beginning yesterday, WB Montreal’s newest take on the Batman series has been all but confirmed after a series of cryptic teasers on a site titled R3DAKT3D. Alongside highlighting some logos from the game, including one that sparked further speculation that the title would indeed feature the Court of Owls, it seems the website also held a reference to a trailer that would drop on August 21 - a day before WB Montreal’s conference at DC FanDome....

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 6 is live, adding a slew of new content for fans of the game to check out. Earlier today, Lucasfilm announced some brand new LEGO Star Wars sets based around a myriad of different Star Wars eras. While that’s not too out of the ordinary, one of the things that’s really catching the eyes of fans is the reveal that certain sets will come with a code that unlocks exclusive content in the upcoming video game LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The news was revealed in Lucasfilm’s official announcement post for the new sets on starwars....

Having recently celebrated eleven years in existence, the blocky, sandbox world is still pumping out updates to keep the game fresh and interesting, and now a new beta is coming which is going to add even more stuff, as well as bring back some things....

Last week, a Red Dead Online money glitch was discovered, which allowed players to duplicate fish and sell them for quick and easy cash. While this Red Dead Online duplication glitch has since been patched out of the game, a new Red Dead Redemption 2 online cougar glitch has already been discovered, and it is seemingly filling the coffers of players even more quickly than the aforementioned fish glitch....

When it comes to Star Wars in 2022, there’s no bigger event than the return of Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi. The Jedi Master stars in his own Disney+ series that picks up 10 years after the events of Revenge of the Sith. The Jedi Order has fallen, and the few knights who remain are being ruthlessly hunted down by the Empire and their dark-side-worshipping Inquisitors. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan is still in exile on Tatooine, watching over young Luke Skywalker from afar…until the time is right....

EastPointPictures announced today that its new Super Smash Bros. Melee documentary, Metagame, will premiere on Twitch from December 11 through December 13. Metagame is an eight-part documentary that chronicles the history of the Super Smash Bros. Melee esports scene. The documentary will focus on the Five Gods era, which is an era where five legendary Melee players dominated the game for an extended period of time. During this era, the gods were the only players in the world to win a tournament when at least one of them was attending....

If a game receives a major update or expansion, it’s pretty much expected that bugs are going to arise. Even previously-stable, excellent games can be temporarily crippled by bugs introduced with updates, and it’s up to the developer to quickly address them and repair the situation. For Destiny fans, the House of Wolves update brought much-desired new content, but it also had its share of new bugs. Thankfully, Bungie’s latest weekly report is promising to look into fixing some of these problems in their next game update....
