The first trailer for No Man’s Sky Origins recently dropped online, and is set to introduce an astronomical amount of new content, from brand new planets, to landscape overhauls, to a whole new range of weird alien fauna. Take the sci-fi gameplay of Doom, inject with a healthy dose of The Binding of Isaac-like narrative, and wrap it with a thick layer of Norse mythology, and you have Gunnhildr, the newest video game from indie developer RatDog Games based in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. Oscar Isaac, perhaps best known as hotshot pilot Poe Dameron in Star Wars, has recently announced his intentions to develop his very own graphic novel with the help of Legendary Comics. Isaac will be working on the project alongside Jason Spire, which will be titled Head Wounds: Sparrow. The original story is also being worked on by Bob Johnson and John Alvey, two of Isaac’s childhood friends, and has very personal origins....

A company profile of CD Projekt Red aired on German TV, giving fans over a minute of new in-game footage of Cyberpunk 2077. Cyberpunk 2077 was supposed to release at the end of this week, but to the disappointment of countless fans, CD Projekt Red announced in late October that the game would be delayed to December 10. CD Projekt Red’s marketing team went silent for about a week following the announcement, likely to take time to regroup and reassess their new strategy going into December....

Overwatch has been notorious for having toxic players and issues within the community in regards to what Blizzard does to these players. It’s time to add another name to the list of affected esports games postponed by the threat of a spreading coronavirus around the worldwide. This time, it’s NBA 2K that is seeing the start of its league season delayed until further notice. The season was set to tip off on Tuesday, March 24, however, in a statement released this afternoon, teams have been informed that they will continue to complete in preseason competitions, or scrimmages, from their specific markets remotely to prepare for the eventual start of the 2020 Season, though no further details were given regarding a timeline for this, or if there will be an adjustment made to this year’s season in terms of length of games played....
