Life is Strange gained itself a strong following upon its initial release back in 2015, with the episodic adventure game earning itself a place in the library of many gamers looking for a character-driven experience. Now, developer Dontnod Entertainment has confirmed that is is working on a sequel to the award-winning title. Releasing a message to fans over on YouTube, Dontnod Entertainment revealed that another Life is Strange game is now in development, and in fact has been in production since last year when the boxed, full release of the game was completed....

It has been revealed in a teardown video on YouTube that the Dualsense’s joysticks have a lifespan of just over 400 hours. In the new video by tech channel iFixIt - discovered via VGC - it’s explained that the joystick hardware found in the DualSense controller is the same as that in many other controllers including the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. There’s been a number of class-action lawsuits filed against various companies over the past year, the majority having been filed against Nintendo for its infamous Joy-Con drift problem....

Tyler “Ninja” Blevins has become one of the most iconic names in streaming. Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light was released for the Nintendo Famicom on April 20, 1990. It was the first entry in the series and it featured the debut of Marth....

Hit Save!, a nonprofit that “advocates for, initiate, support, and maintain video game preservation efforts through community-driven projects,” officially launched this week. The organization, led by executive director Jonas Rosland, is committed to preserving video games as an integral part of pop culture. Although there are several organizations and museums that work on video game preservation, Hit Save! is attempting to be more proactive by not only storing and scanning physically printed media but also offering sponsorships to game manufacturers that will enable them to record their work on hardware and software for posterity....

While it’s always a bit foolhardy to get excited about a movie based on a video game, the new Mortal Kombat film looks like it could be a fun time for both fans and non-fans of the franchise. It’s produced by Aquaman and Fast 7 director James Wan and is said to be made with a style and tone akin to the Mortal Kombat: Legacy web series. Also, for the first time, there will be gruesome fatalities shown on the big screen, which should be fun....

One dedicated Outriders fan has been pouring some insane amount of time into the game’s demo, which launched on February 25. The guy managed to play it for 254 hours in 15 days, meaning he has to be logged into the game for 17 hours every single day. Outriders developers have recently shared some in-game statistics for the first 2 weeks of access to the demo. In addition to the announcement that more than 2 million players have tried the game across all platforms, devs at People Can Fly pointed out average playtime for the demo stood at 4 hours and 20 minutes....

The latest Overwatch patch contains a change that may have significant effects on the online multiplayer shooter’s meta. Tuesday’s Overwatch PTR update only makes a handful of changes and hasn’t reached live servers yet, but is noteworthy due to its nerf to armor. Armor has become somewhat of an issue lately as armored characters’ relative strength has grown as other strong characters have been nerfed.
