Netflix has revealed the first footage of its upcoming animated series based on Studio MDHR’s side-scrolling 2D platformer Cuphead. The show, which is simply titled The Cuphead Show, brings to life the world of MDHR’s modern-classic platformer. Cuphead, for the uninitiated, became iconic in its utilization of traditional pen-and-paper hand drawn animation in the style of 1930s animated short films. In the teaser released by Netflix earlier today, key figures from the show’s production staff such as executive producers Dave Wasson and CJ Kettler very briefly discuss the show’s production, while short clips of animation and storyboards are also showcased, giving viewers an impression of how the show will be animated compared to the video game....

In the most recent Blizzard developer update, Overwatch game director Jeff Kaplan announced that Overwatch will be introducing a feature that lets players avoid certain players in the game. This feature is called “Avoid as Teammate” and will be implemented in the game soon, before season 10 starts. According to Kaplan, the “Avoid as Teammate” feature is put in place to help players craft a better gameplay experience by avoiding other players that may cause them frustration for one reason or another....

Ori And The Will Of The Wisps is undeniably one of the most beautiful and enchanting games released in 2020. Outriders handles legendary gear differently than most looter shooters. Instead of locking perks to certain weapons, Outriders lets you swap the mods on legendaries freely on other gear, even non-legendary items. As a result, the mods tied to legendaries are what players are chasing. Some of these mods are incredibly strong, enabling new playstyles or granting a massive damage bonus. Blizzard recently gave Overwatch hero Mercy a huge rework that completely changed the support character’s abilities, including her ultimate. While the change went down well with Mercy players who said that the character was made stronger, Blizzard has now announced plans to nerf her. In the latest patch notes for the Overwatch PTR (Public Test Region) on PC, Blizzard has made significant tweaks to Mercy to make her weaker. This includes increasing the Resurrect cast time from zero seconds to 1....

Blizzard confirms the Overwatch season four end date. The current competitive season of Blizzard’s hugely popular multiplayer shooter began in March and has seen players test their mettle against one another. In a post on the company’s official forum, Overwatch principal designer Scott Mercer reveals that the season four of competitive play will end on May 29 at 0:00 UTC (Universal Time Coordinated). This is May 28 at 5PM for those in Pacific Daylight Time and May 28 at 8PM for those in the Eastern timezone....

Paper Beast is a fascinating, albeit bizarre virtual reality experience. One of the first things you see is some strange room filled with grabbable, blobby shapes and energetic J-Pop music playing in the background.
