While Overwatch skin concepts are common, it is quite rare to see similar fan-made designs used for two different characters. However, one artist shows that this can work well, as a pair of matching skins have been shared for the Overwatch damage heroes Ashe and Widowmaker. In the concepts, the duo is given a more studious look, as Redditor Sparrow_21 takes Overwatch fans back in time by presenting Widowmaker and Ashe how they may have looked in school....

2021 is certainly shaping up to be a big year for Overwatch fans, and Blizzard has celebrated its arrival with a gorgeous piece of art centered on the popular hero Hanzo. The special Overwatch image shows Hanzo, bow in hand, gazing off into the distance and pondering what the new year will hold for him. Capcom has been pushing the marketing for Monster Hunter Rise ever since it was announced last year. The latest entry in the long-running action-RPG series is due to launch in just a little over two weeks and many fans are excited to jump into it and see what’s changed this time around. On May 26, NetherRealm Studios’ Mortal Kombat 11 is set to get a big expansion in the form of the Aftermath DLC. Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath will include plenty of paid content, but it will also add new features for all MK11 players, regardless of whether or not they purchase the expansion. NBA 2K21 today announced that several tracks from 2 Chainz’s upcoming album “So Help Me God” will make their debut in-game on November 12. The unreleased songs will be available all-day via the 2K Beats in-game playlist, but will disappear on November 13 – which also happens to be the day “So Help Me God” is released. “I’m always looking at new ways to drop new music and connect with my fans....

The Reaper’s Game is going into overtime, as Square Enix has announced Neo: The World Ends with You for PS4 and Nintendo Switch, with a release date of Summer 2021. The World Ends with You was a JRPG for the Nintendo DS that was set in modern-day Shibuya. The main character was a boy named Neku, who has no memory of his life before waking up on the street. It turns out that Neku has died, but he is allowed a second shot at life, as he is invited to take part in the Reaper’s Game....

Netflix has ultimately decided that its recent drama series Messiah won’t be back for season 2. Series star Wil Traval broke the news that Netflix had canceled its controversial drama show after just one season–likely due to a number of reasons surrounding the show’s plot, budget, and reception. Season one of Messiah has a 44% rating on Rotten Tomatoes (so, not too great…but definitely not the worst either). Netflix’s decision comes a couple of months after the show’s launch on January 1 of 2020, and while fans may not be happy over the cancellation, it isn’t entirely surprising either....

“Toss A Coin To Your Witcher”, the viral song sung by Jaskier in Netflix’s The Witcher series, only took co-executive producer Jenny Klein 10 minutes to write. Despite the song becoming a pop culture phenomenon, it appears that it simply came from a burst of inspiration instead of hours of hard work. Not only was the song only written in 10 minutes, but Klein also admitted that it was her very first time writing lyrics of any sort....

Every year that BlizzCon rolls back around, Overwatch fans wait with anticipation for the announcement of the game’s next playable hero. One again, Blizzard did not disappoint, and introduces audiences to Ashe, the 29th character to join the roster. In true Blizzard fashion, Miss Elizabeth Caledonia Ashe premiered in an all-new cinematic trailer called “Reunion” that follows the suave cowboy McCree. In it, he thwarts a train robbery attempted by the Deadlock Gang, a group of desert outlaws led by the new Overwatch hero....

Netflix has released a new episode for their latest hit documentary series, Tiger King. That being said, the additional episode acts more of a follow-up to the convoluted, madcap story of Joe Exotic and his obsession with Carol Baskin and big cats. The episode – entitled “The Tiger King And I” – is hosted by Community’s Joel McHale. McHale will be joined by some of the show’s main characters including John Reinke, Joshua Dial, John Finlay, Saff, Erik Cowie, Rick Kirkman as well as Jeff and Lauren Lowe....

The Sniper Elite series, while somewhat failing to capture the attention of the gaming world at large, has certainly managed to carve out its own niche in the third-person shooter genre thanks to its focus on stealth and creative sniper kills. While it flew under the radar for many, last March, Rebellion released a spinoff of Sniper Elite that borrowed the Nazi Zombies shtick from Call of Duty to create Zombie Army Trilogy....

Samuel L. Jackson will reprise his role as Nick Fury for a new Disney+ Marvel TV series according to Variety. No details are currently available other than the fact that he’ll the popular MCU super spy is indeed the headliner of the show and that Kyle Bradstreet (Mr. Robot) will write and executive produce the series. The news comes just months after Agents of SHIELD wrapped its seven season run on ABC....

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has had a huge effect on not only the video game industry, but also movie theatre chains like Cinemark and on schools across the world. Popular Mixer streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins and his wife Jessica Blevins announced Friday they are donating $150,000 “on behalf of team Ninja” to Feeding America, a nonprofit organization currently providing to food banks and children who depended on school lunches. In a video posted to Twitter, Tyler said, “To be in the financial situation that my wife and I are in right now is incredible, so one thing we wanted to do was give back as much as we can to a lot of the families that are being affected....

Nintendo has dropped a lot of screenshots from Bowser’s Fury - too many for one article - but there’s plenty to dig into, whether it’s Mario cowering from the looming metallic foe in the distance, or just running around, having fun with cats. The new screenshots show black goo infesting statues, Bowser Jr. and Mario playing with other Koopa siblings, Mario dressing up as a blue shell bro with a boomerang to boot, and, naturally, the final, Super Sentai, Kaiju fight between Mario and Bowser himself....

We’ve been down this road before: the speculation and the rumors leading up to E3 2011; waiting for something - anything - from Valve about Half-Life 3; the let-down of not getting what was hoped for; and finally the acceptance and the courage to move on and look hopefully to next year. Unfortunately, it appears E3 2012 may be mostly the same, but at least it will be better than last year....
