Update 7/5: Triternion has released an official statement on the controversy. Original story follows. Mordhau, the medieval combat multiplayer game, has become much popular than anyone could have guessed. However, Mordhau has struggled with a toxic community, where the developers themselves have admitted that there is “a lot of racism” found in their game’s chat. The toxic community is one reason why Mordhau developers Triternion have been hesitant to expand the game’s customization options to let people play more than just white male characters, but it has discussed the possibility of giving players the option to toggle other races and genders on or off....

While the appropriately titled Final Stand DLC pack was originally thought to be the last piece of new content for Battlefield 4, news soon hit that suggested it wasn’t. In fact, producer David Sirland came forward to reveal that the DICE developers would have more to say about the future of Battlefield 4, and a possible sixth DLC pack, on December 9th. Now that the date has arrived, we are disappointed to report that DICE has not announced a new Battlefield 4 DLC pack…yet....

It’s rather surprising that both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have been out since Fall 2013, if only because it doesn’t feel like that much time has passed, and relatively few big things have happened since their respective launches. Both consoles continue to receive updates; highly-anticipated titles were pushed back to later this year, and some games are still releasing for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Basically, it doesn’t feel like next-gen is truly here yet, with 2015 presumably being the year that all changes....

In case you weren’t hyped enough for Monster Hunter Rise, Capcom has just released complete footage of a Somnacanth battle. The 12-minute clip shows off not just the terrifying new beast, but also the impressive utility of the new wirebug. The first minute of gameplay starts out exactly how you’d expect – with the player tracking down their prey. It doesn’t take long for the Somnacanth to make an appearance, and things escalate quickly once it notices the hunter....

Capcom saw major success in 2018 with the worldwide release of Monster Hunter World on PS4 and Xbox One, bringing the series back to home console for the first time in nearly a decade. However, as the title begins to sunset with the final major update for Monster Hunter: World coming on October 1st, the developer behind the game is preparing to launch a new installment in the series. Announced with a new trailer, Capcom has announced the new Monster Hunter: World title, which both long time fans of the series and new players hoping on to the recent game may not appreciate as much as the developer might hope....

New Pokemon Snap’s 11 levels are deeper than they first appear, with the franchise-building on its N64 predecessor by upgrading the route your trusty NEO-ONE takes on each course over time according to its Research Level. In order to upgrade a course’s Research Level you’ll need to gain a certain number of Expedition Points; earned by taking photos of new Pokemon, gaining new Star Ratings, and improving your Picture Scores. This can allow you to see new Pokemon as they begin to trust you, along with opening new routes and even gaining you the chance of spotting one of the game’s few well-hidden mythical and legendary Pokemon....

Ubisoft has released a trailer to tease what fans can expect from its Ubisoft Forward event. The assumption can be made that this event was originally scheduled for June during E3 week, however, with Covid-19 mixing the entire year up, Ubisoft is providing a digital event on July 12 as a replacement.
