In ‘Black Shirt’, season six revealed its genre: horror. From the Hammer picture image of lightning cracking over Tommy’s stately home, to Ruby’s scrawled drawings of the devil, and Tommy fighting the imaginary yellow-toothed “Grey Man”, episode two was filled with horror imagery – fitting, for a show about somebody who’s haunted....

Mordhau developers Triternion have issued an official statement to the gender and race-based filter proposed in an upcoming update. Earlier this week, Mordhau made headlines for a controversial solution to its problem of toxic gamers. Racism, sexism, and homophobia run rampant in-game and in Mordhau’s forums, which developer Triternion seems unable to stop. The game released with an eye towards “authenticity” as a medieval Europe battle simulator. Only white, male characters can be created to take part in Mordhau’s 64-player bloodbaths....

At a recent event, Game Rant got the chance to watch demo gameplay of the artsy-horror game Mundaun, a title in which players will uncover a dark supernatural mystery in the regions surrounding the imposing mountain peak after which the game is named. The game’s textures are all hand-drawn in pencil, providing a uniquely eerie air, but the evocative setting and overwhelming atmosphere were the most compelling features showcased at the event....

About a year ago, NASA began to accept registrations for flights to Mars from people around the world. Well, registration to send a person’s name to Mars, at least. All approved names submitted during the “Send Your Name to Mars” campaign were etched onto microchips, which were then placed aboard the Mars 2020 rover Perseverance on March 16, 2020. The deadline to submit names for inclusion on the microchip ended on November 1, 2019, and nearly 11 million names as well as 155 student essays were added as a result of the campaign....

Due to his uncanny resemblance to Uncharted’s main protagonist, Nathan Drake, actor Nathan Fillion has long been the odds-on fan favorite to star in the Uncharted film adaptation. Today, the chances of that happening jumped dramatically. Fillion, well-known for his prominent roles in film, television, and gaming, posted on Instagram a cryptic tease of his potential role as Nathan Drake in the forthcoming Uncharted feature-length movie. The layered tease is reigniting speculation that Fillion will indeed assume the role of Nathan Drake if and when the adaptation eventually enters production....

NBA 2K21 has teamed up with UnitedMasters to add up-and-coming artists to the game’s growing soundtrack. Only ten tracks made the cut out of more than 13,000 submissions, with the selection committee including iconic names such as Jadakiss, Ronnie 2K, Murda Beatz, and Tay Keith. The ten new tracks will be added to the NBA 2K21 Next Gen soundtrack through an upcoming patch. Here are the songs that made the cut:...

Couch Installation Service is the company’s debut Android game, and the zen-like puzzler tasks players with moving furniture around until it’s placed in the specified position in each room. To make things more difficult, only one side of the couch can be moved at a time. This means that players will have to slowly shimmy the seats into position while avoiding other objects that might get in their way....

A slight tweak regarding the exclusivity of Rift Apart suggests the sequel might one day come to PC. The arrival of Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is fast approaching. The PS5 exclusive hits the next-gen console on June 11, 2021. Unlike other recent releases, Rift Apart will forgo the PS4 entirely, likely due to its rapid load times and other elements which make the most of the PS5’s SSD. That means the PS5 will be the only platform on which Rift Apart can be played, at least for now....

Paramount has begun to work on another Transformers movie, but the new project will be a standalone film with no connection to the previous entries from Michael Bay or the rebooted universe that Bumblebee began.
