Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch confirmed that another 10 episodes of its reality building competition, Lego Masters, have been ordered. Host and exec producer Will Arnett, voice of Lego Batman himself, will be returning and it’s likely the judges Amy Corbett and Jamie Berard will be joining him too. Preparations for the second season began in May for a midseason launch but the deal took longer than expected. The second season will begin filming in Spring 2021 for broadcast later in the year....

Despite leaking online about a month before its reveal, Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath came as a shock to many. Not only does it introduce a brand new story set after the events of the main games, it brings Kombat Pack 1 characters into the fold and even adds 3 more brand new characters. Prior to Mortal Kombat 11’s launch, datamining efforts potentially leaked the game’s entire roster of DLC characters. This included guest characters like Ash Williams from the Evil Dead franchise, whose chainsaw arm and proficiency with sawed-off shotguns make him a perfect fit for the Mortal Kombat 11 roster. Fans hoping to see Ash Williams in Mortal Kombat 11 had their hopes dashed when Ash actor Bruce Campbell himself denied the rumors on Twitter, but it seems that he may have just been teasing fans all along....

Fans of both The Witcher books and video games enjoyed the Netflix series’ first season for the most part, but some might have hoped it would have dropped a few more hints towards the critically acclaimed gaming series. Now, it sounds like future seasons are going to contain many more hints towards the video games, as showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich promises that it’ll happen, “as often as possible.” Season 1 of The Witcher gave us a handful of hints towards the games, but other than the fan favorite bathtub scene, many of them might have flown over the heads of those who aren’t hardcore fans....

Some of the most memorable parts of Batman: Arkham Asylum were the sequences where players were tormented by the Scarecrow in toxin-induced hallucinations. The villain was absent from Arkham City and Arkham Origins — but a new trailer shows he’s back to his old tricks for Arkham Knight. We already know that Scarecrow is set to play a big part in the game’s plot, as early trailers revealed that he’s a co-conspirator of the titular Arkham Knight....

This year celebrates the 5th anniversary of Toby Fox’s critically acclaimed game, Undertale. With it, new screenshots of Undertale’s sequel, Deltarune, have been released in the most recent issue of Famitsu magazine. Deltarune was originally released as a demo only containing Chapter 1 back on Halloween of 2018. Ever since then, fans have been waiting for more from Toby Fox and his small team regarding future updates and chapters. As promised, this year’s installment of The Game Awards has delivered plenty of brand new game announcements, including the unveiling of several major titles. But amid the AAA reveals of games like Ark 2 and the new Perfect Dark game, there was an interesting-looking indie game announced, known as Season. The game is the latest from Scavengers Studio, the developer behind the 2018 battle royale game The Darwin Project, and as far as tone goes, the reveal trailer makes it look like a complete departure from that title....

For fans of the Mass Effect franchise, today is N7 Day, a holiday of sorts celebrating the beloved franchise. N7 is the military rank protagonist and player-character Commander Shepard carries within the Human Alliance Military in the Mass Effect universe. New Pokemon Snap is finally here, and players have found themselves immersed in the game. The long-running Yakuza game series has been gaining popularity recently in the west, and now English-speaking fans are eagerly awaiting the upcoming release of Yakuza 7: Like a Dragon. However, a new tweet claims that Sega will reveal the series’ latest work at TGS. In Japan, Yakuza 7 released back in January of 2020, which makes it highly unlikely that it will be the focus in this announcement. While it’s possible that an expansion may be released for the game, the new tweet makes it sound more like it’s a new entry to the franchise....

After weeks of speculation and uncertainty about the fate of one of the best players in the Overwatch League, the New York Excelsior took to Twitter to announce Hyojong “Haksal” Kim as the newest addition to a talented roster. Haksal found himself without a team a little while ago when the Vancouver Titans released their entire roster. Rumors pointed to Haksal joining New York or the Seoul Dynasty but the Excelsior ended up securing the superstar....

Update: Microsoft has since removed the store page listing that included leaked DLC information for Nier Replicant ver.1.22474487139…. There has still been no official confirmation on the DLC, or any indication on when the link will work again. A Microsoft store page has let slip that there’s some launch day DLC available for Nier Replicant in the form of outfits and weapons from Nier Automata. The store page in question - which can still be viewed on the Microsoft storefront - shows the two main characters from Nier Replicant in clothing incredibly similar to the clothes that 2B and 9S wear in Nier Automata....

Last night heralded the first Apex Legends tournament, which was won in North America by Team Kings Canyon, comprising Ninja, Dizzy, and King Richard, and in the EU by Team MANE, comprising Gotaga, Micalow, and Robi. A survey sent to Nintendo fans wants to know how they feel about Mario after the famous plumber’s 35th-anniversary celebrations. Nintendo celebrated Mario’s 35th anniversary in a number of ways last year. Via the release of Super Mario 3D All-Stars, launching a BR game based on the original Super Mario Bros, and a special edition Game and Watch was also created. However, Nintendo decided to cut the celebrations short, removing All-Stars and the Game and Watch from sale and shutting down Super Mario Bros....

Nippon Ichi Software (NIS), known for their tactical RPG games like Phantom Brave, Makai Kingdom: Chronicles of the Sacred Tome, and Soul Nomad & the World Eaters, has just released the sixth official trailer for Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny. The new game was announced on September 17, 2020, and is coming to the PS4 and Nintendo Switch on January 28 in Japan and this summer in North America and Europe....
