While it’s not as well known among younger gamers, to a gamers of a certain age, Myst is an untouchable classic. When it came out in 1993, Myst changed what a puzzle game could be. It was the best selling game of the decade, becoming so popular that it helped make the CD-ROM player into a household item. The game is even included in MoMA’s video game collection. Now one documentarian wants to tell the story of the game, and he’s turning to Kickstarter for help....
According to Sony research, 80% of PS4 owners have yet to play an Uncharted game. Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection aims to capitalize on that market. The Uncharted games were a staple of of the PlayStation 3 era, but as Sony has explained in the pasted, many PS4 owners did not own the previous generation console. The influx of new PlayStation players has led Sony to believe that there is definitely a demand from PS4 owners to experience some of the best games that they missed during the last decade....
During the 2019 NBA Draft Lottery selection, almost every team was hoping to land the #1 pick, or at the very least #2 or #3. Many draft analysts considered this a top-heavy class with not a lot of superstar talent outside of the top 3 prospects. BioShock is undergoing some big changes just as the gaming industry enters the next generation of consoles. 2K opened a new studio, Cloud Chamber, to tackle a fourth installment in the franchise. The studio has expressed a desire to deliver the kind of experience fans expect from the series, but there are some big opportunities for the new title to push itself to the limits. From the size of its world, the unfolding of its story, and its combat, the next BioShock game should try and deliver an experience which takes the series far beyond its first three games....

Capcom has revealed a few new screenshots for its Resident Evil 7 DLC, Not a Hero. While the screenshots don’t offer too many details about the upcoming story add-on, they do confirm a few gameplay favorites are returning to the mix. For those that may not be familiar, Not a Hero picks up at the end of Resident Evil 7 and stars fan favorite hero, Chris Redfield. According to the screenshots, Chris is seeking out a high value target that may be responsible for the outbreak on the Baker plantation....
New Super Lucky’s Tale follows a very simple 3D platformer collectathon formula. The game features six worlds, each with three to five levels. Each level has four clovers required to attain 100% completion of the game. The four clovers are earned by finding the L-U-C-K-Y collectibles, finding the Hidden Page, gathering 300 coins and completing the level. Hub worlds also have a small number of clovers available that you earn by completing minigames or puzzles....
The third world of New Super Lucky’s Tale features more clovers than the previous two, with 26 in total, scattered across five levels and the hub world. Despite there being more to collect, this world is much easier than the last and will likely go by much quicker. As with the previous two worlds, this guide won’t cover coins, as you only need 300 per level and there are plenty more than that....
New Tales from the Borderlands’ story focuses closely on three characters, with all becoming memorable across its runtime. Anu serves as the voice of reason, as she is an anxiety-ridden scientist with a heart of gold. Octavio is desperate for fame, having a memorable sense of humor due to his own stupidity. However, out of all the New Tales from the Borderlands characters, it is Fran that has the most potential to be a playable character in the main series....
Nintendo fans have been expecting a January Direct due to a leaked email that detailed the upcoming marketing campaign for an EA game called Fe. This Direct was highly anticipated, due to the 2018 lineup for the Nintendo Switch and 3DS currently being bare. After teasing the fans for days on Twitter, Nintendo finally dropped a new Direct onto YouTube without much fanfare. This Direct was a “Mini” event that focused solely on upcoming games for the Nintendo Switch....
Crafting in No Man’s Sky is extremely useful. Players can get their hands on powerful items, craft helpful tools, and even use the crafting mechanic to make a nice packet of extra cash. This is going to be a sad thing to hear for both fans of survival horror and those who lament the inevitable passage of time: Dead Space 3, the last game released in the series, debuted in 2013. In fact, an entire console generation has passed without even the slightest hint or suggestion that the series’ corpse may be reanimated.
