As a guest character to the franchise, RoboCop is the most hotly anticipated, and NetherRealm continues to capitalize on this with an introductory video posted to its YouTube channel earlier today....

A sequel to PSVR title Moss has been announced, titled Moss Book 2. Shown off during Sony’s State of Play, a surprise announcement of a sequel to PSVR platformer Moss kicked off proceedings. Similar to the first game, the player will take on the role of Quill as she journeys deep into the hexed castle of the Arcane. Moss Book 2 will build upon the story of the first game and will see Quill fight a winged tyrant that is relentlessly hunting her....

Darren Aronofsky (Noah, Requiem For a Dream) wants you to know very little about mother!, his latest film starring Jennifer Lawrence as the vaguely-named Mother and Javier Bardem as the even-more-vaguely-named Him, before seeing it. I understand the impulse. This is a cinematic experience best gone into without too much context. Ostensibly, mother! is about the relationship between Mother and older husband Him. He is a poet. She is a homemaker, literally having rebuilt The Poet’s isolated country home back up from its bones, following a mysterious fire that robbed him of all his worldly possessions....

Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet, Apple TV+’s game development comedy series that charmed audiences with its COVID-19 episode earlier this year, may not have been quite as careful as its characters with regards to the virus. After a recent statement from creator Rob McElhenney touted the production’s safe operating procedures, several anonymous crew members who tested positive for COVID-19 disagreed. McElhenney addressed the rising number of cases in Los Angeles County in a message to the Mythic Quest staff according to Variety, saying “to date there remains ZERO evidence of any transmission at work....

It’s a little bizarre to have the new NBA 2K game release before the season has even wrapped up, but these are strange times. This year’s iteration hasn’t gone down too well with critics or players due in large to the complete lack of innovation. It’s a complaint that will hopefully be rectified by the launch of the next-gen consoles later this year, but only time will tell. For those who enjoy the MyTeam game mode though, the lack of progress likely won’t matter too much....

Heralded by many as the best release in the popular racing series to date, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit was a critical and commercial success for EA when it dropped back in 2010. David Capurro, the design lead and interim product owner of the Summoner’s Rift team, has made a lengthy post detailing how champions are evaluated for balance changes in League of Legends. The decisions will be primarily made through the newly structured Champion Balance Framework, which Capurro touts as the source that all players can look towards to hold the team accountable for how characters are balanced. Joining the list of returning showcases from 2020 is New Game Plus Expo, the showcase dedicated to providing updates on upcoming Japanese games, which will be returning on March 4th, 2021....

The Amazing Spider-Man has a new suit, and it is a large departure from what fans may be used to. The new costume debuts on March 10, 2021, in the Amazing Spider-Man #61. Designed by Dustin Weaver, the new look is very different than Spider-Man’s normal red and blue suit. The white, blue, and gold/orange color scheme is what sets this suit apart from most, giving it an almost electric look....

You probably know Simon Spurrier and Aaron Campbell from their time together on DC’s John Constantine: Hellblazer series. The latest Hearthstone expansion, Forged in the Barrens, has just been announced at BlizzCon 2021. There are new ranked spells, ten legendary mercenary minions, and a frenzy effect alongside a just-released cinematic trailer. Ranked spells, a new addition, level up when you reach five and ten mana crystals, while frenzy turns “even the docile plainstrider into a deadly whirlwind of talon and feather.” In other words, minions with Frenzy activate “powerful effects” when they first take a hit and don’t die....

Queue Weight of the World, Nier is making yet another appearance in a mobile game with its Punishing: Gray Raven crossover event. The action RPG will host characters 2B, A2, and 9S, and include Kaine and Nier skins from Nier Replicant. For the unfamiliar, Punishing: Gray Raven is a free-to-play action RPG from Kuro Game available on iOS and Android for players in Japan and China. The game came out back in December of 2019, but it looks like Kuro Game did register the trademark in the US and Europe....

Last week, streamer and Fortnite pro Ninja began running his own Fortnite tournament, which is set to last for another five weeks and sees a number of other professional players competing for cash prizes. Despite the first week being an overall success (although there was some controversy when one of the players made some inappropriate comments), Ninja still isn’t impressed with the state that Fortnite is currently in. Recently, he’s criticized the game that propelled him to stardom for several reasons, such as the map introduced in Chapter 2 Season 2, and he has now gone on the record as describing the game as boring to play....

It seems that we may be seeing a new addition to Nintendo’s line of popular retro consoles, as a trademark for the Nintendo 64 has been claimed in Japan. Nintendo of Japan has claimed a trademark for the term N64, which suggests that we may be seeing a retro console based on the Nintendo 64 in the near future. The Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System and the Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Entertainment System were both huge hits for Nintendo....

The fans who missed out on the chance to purchase an Animal Crossing: New Horizons limited edition Nintendo Switch are in luck, as more of them will be available to purchase from select retailers soon. Nintendo announced that limited edition Animal Crossing Switches were going to be released alongside the game in March. The system has Animal Crossing symbols emblazoned on its back and it comes with pastel blue and green Joy-Cons, as well as a dock showing the Nook family on an island....
