The events of 2020 have likely forced another Droughtlander on fans who have been treated to a steady supply of Starz’s popular period drama series for quite some time, but it looks like Outlander Season 6 is slowly gearing up to start filming amid new safety guidelines. In a new interview with Stellar Magazine star Sam Heughan, who has played Jamie Fraser on the show since 2014, has been talking about why he thinks Outlander continues to resonate with its fans, citing the pure central relationship between his thoughtful and occasionally rebellious character and Caitriona Balfe’s strong-minded former World War II nurse, Claire....

Outlast 2 now has a playable demo, currently available on the European PlayStation Store, allowing players to get a taste of the horrifying game that’s set to release in 2017. Another week of the Overwatch League is in the books as the teams scramble to find a “meta” for each week. The hero pools are really throwing a wrench in terms of team compositions and there is no telling what will be thrown at the wall for week ten. The past weekend saw Wrecking Ball, Mei, McCree and Brigitte relegated to the bench and with D.Va sitting on the bench in week ten, it will be interesting to see which hero takes her place....

Since it launched back in 2016, Overwatch has been constantly evolving due in large part to consistent updates from Blizzard that range from bug fixes and balancing to new heroes. Earlier this month, Blizzard teased a bit of what’s to come for the popular shooter, including the existence of a new hero set to join the constantly expanding roster. Thanks to a new interview, fans now have a bit more information on the 27th hero....

After quite a bit of lead-up, including hints that had many fans believing Doomfist would be Overwatch’s next playable character, hero 24 has finally reached Blizzard’s team-based shooter. Orisa is releasing today, March 21, in the game’s 1.9 patch. However, Blizzard has announced that Orisa won’t be immediately available for Competitive Play when she goes live. In a forum post on the Overwatch site, the game’s principal designer Scott Mercer confirmed the hold-off for the new hero....

Batman is known for its expansive rogues gallery, including many characters players will be hoping to see return in WB Games Montreal’s upcoming Gotham Knights. These villains range from famous faces like the Joker, Poison Ivy, and Two-Face, to the silly and often sidelined characters like Calendar Man, Clock King, and Polka-Dot Man. There is one strange villain, however, who could fit perfectly into the plot of Gotham Knights as revealed so far....

Although reviews have been, by and large, mixed with regards to Destiny, most can agree that Bungie is on to something. Yes, there are some systems in the game that are, shall we say, head-scratchers, but even so the fact that we can’t put the game down speaks volumes about its successes. Is it flawed? Rakna-Kadki was one of the more mysterious monsters in Monster Hunter Rise, at least when the game was first announced. Players saw a temnoceran class monster briefly shown in the game’s first announcement trailer. Many assumed that monster was Nerscylla returning, but fans eventually noticed that Nerscylla looked very different from the monster shown in the Monster Hunter Rise trailer. Eventually, the Monster Hunter Rise demo dropped and players took note of the gear that the charge blade user was wearing....

Capcom’s wildly successful Monster Hunter series has seen a resurgence of popularity thanks to the recent release of Monster Hunter Rise. The Switch exclusive game shipped over four million units in its first weekend and is possibly on track to dethrone World as Capcom’s best-selling game of all time. When Disney streaming service Disney+ launched on November 12, 2019, the Marvel Cinematic Universe was still a ways away from making its streaming debut. Marvel titles like Daredevil and Runaways had already graced the streaming world on platforms like Netflix and Hulu, but it wouldn’t be until WandaVision premiered on Jan. 15, 2021 that Marvel’s celluloid canon joined its televised one. A lot of what was revealed for the MCU on television on Disney+ Day was lightly repackaged old information....

A cryptic tweet from a senior member over at Xbox has hinted at more games receiving the FPS Boost treatment in the near future. First discovered by SegmentNext, a Twitter user has recently asked Xbox Director of Project Management Jason Ronald when we can expect another FPS Boost announcement from the publisher. In response, Ronald simply says “Soon”, hinting that Microsoft has another announcement coming in the near future. As to what games will be receiving a frame rate boost, it’s anybody’s best guess at the moment....

Mortal Kombat 11 fans have a lot of upcoming content to look forward to. The game’s official Twitter has teased upcoming skins being added to the game with a focus on Sindel, Skarlet, and Scorpion among others. The skins will be added to future patch updates, though no dates have been given for release. Since the game’s release in early 2019, Mortal Kombat 11 has received multiple minor updates ranging from gameplay adjustments, rotating online ladders, and new skin unlocks for characters....

Mortal Shell is extremely tough. Much like the Souls series it takes inspiration from, the game presents a combination of tough enemies, a maze-like world design, and a cryptic narrative in a smaller package that can wear even the most experienced players down. The lack of announcements on Elden Ring from FromSoftware is taking a toll on fans with Mortal Shell filling a void for players who love the genre. Oasis Games announces the western release of Chinese MMORPG Naruto Online, based on the anime and manga series, which will be available for PC on July 24th. It’s been out for three years in China, but now the anime MMORPG Naruto Online is making its way to PC in western territories as well. And luckily for western Naruto fans, publisher Oasis Games isn’t making them wait much longer, as Naruto Online is scheduled to launch outside of China on Sunday, July 24th....
