Ocean’s 11 director Steven Soderbergh will begin filming a new heist film titled No Sudden Move for Warner Bros. Pictures and HBO Max. Joining the ensemble cast of the film are David Harbour, Noah Jupe, Kieran Culkin, and Brendan Fraser. Production on No Sudden Move will begin on September 28 in Detroit, with strict protocols being enforced to protect the health of the cast and crew amid the COVID-19 crisis. Previously titled Kill Switch, the film was originally going to begin production in Spring....

Outriders, the upcoming action RPG shooter from People Can Fly and Square Enix, has released a demo allowing players to dive into the game and experience what the post-apocalyptic setting is all about. After some delays, the developer is eager to get the game into players’ hands to show how different it is from other titles in the shooter-looter space. The Outriders demo will take anywhere from two to three hours to play through, encompassing a prologue, some story missions and side quests, plenty of loot, and an exciting array of powers that certainly help the game stand out from the competition....

Overwatch game director Jeff Kaplan responds to backlash about the game’s loot boxes. Fans aren’t happy about Overwatch’s Anniversary event loot boxes and say that it’s just too expensive to unlock all of the game’s new content. Overwatch loot boxes are the game’s bread and butter and are how developer Blizzard makes so much money from the multiplayer shooter. But when the game’s Anniversary Event went live, players quickly realized the huge cost it would take to unlock all 108 of pieces of new loot....

It’s hard to believe it, but Overwatch is nearing its three year anniversary. Blizzard will be celebrating Overwatch’s anniversary with a special Anniversary 2019 event that will see the return of past limited-time modes and make every seasonal skin up for grabs. New skins will also be added to Overwatch as part of the Anniversary 2019 event, including a rather impressive Gargoyle Winston skin. The Gargoyle Winston skin is a legendary skin and part of the six new legendary skins that are coming to the Anniversary 2019 event....

Since launching in May of 2016, the user count for the team-based shooter Overwatch has steadily grown, with Blizzard now revealing that the game has surpassed a whopping 30 million players. This particular development in the title’s user base shows a huge leap in regular gamers givng the release a go, as it was just January of this year that the publisher and developer announced that the FPS had hit 25 million registered players....

One creative fan of Overwatch 2 has put together an informative map showing the origin country of each playable character. The plentiful roster of heroes from Overwatch 2 collectively represents a wealth of countries from every continent in the world and even beyond, in a few cases. Though the first game originally launched with a mere 21 heroes, the list has almost doubled in the time since as new heroes were periodically introduced to the world of Overwatch, typically once every four months or so....

The Overwatch development team may have just introduced a fix for Genji’s Ultimate ability just a couple of weeks ago, but it appears that Blizzard will have to go back to the drawing board. A terrifying new Genji glitch has been discovered that gives players unlimited use of Genji’s Dragonblade attack. The glitch was discovered during a recent Overwatch by Majorawesome1, who accidentally stumbled across the bug during a Competitive Play match on the game’s Route 66 map....

If you were woken up by a massive clatter this morning and it isn’t bin day, it was likely the sound of over 8,000 hours of television and films being tipped into the internet for the UK launch of new streaming service Paramount+. That equates to roughly a year of non-stop viewing with no loo or snack breaks, and impressively, only 4,000 hours of that is made up by Paw Patrol....

In the 2010’s boom of indie titles on Steam, the rise of roguelikes gave way to a million different copycats of the same idea. The popularity of The Binding of Isaac, Spelunky, and even Rogue Legacy paved the way for every Tom, Dick, and Harry to try their hand at capturing that same success. Mention roguelike to most players nowadays and you’ll likely be greeted with a sigh. That doesn’t mean there isn’t still some kind of gold to be mined from that idea....

This Peacemaker review contains spoilers. Peacemaker Episode 6 Watching a filmmaker finetune the edges of a storytelling style they’ve already mastered is truly something to behold. Case in point is this week’s Peacemaker. Episode 6 “Murn After Reading” is both written (like every other episode of the show) and directed (like four others) by James Gunn. Though it has all the makings of a transitional installment into the series’ final two episodes, it still somehow feels like the most stylistically and emotionally complete outing for Peacemaker thus far....

TheJamk and other modders continue to bring Overwatch characters to Street Fighter 5, with the likes of Roadhog, Tracer, Mae, and D.Va now in the game. Besides both having controversial butt animations at one point, there’s not much that Street Fighter V and Overwatch have in common. However, that hasn’t stopped the modding community from adding some of Overwatch’s heroes to the Street Fighter V roster, with modder TheJamk being responsible for most of these mods....

A few days ago, the internet was taken over by various Scooby-Doo related memes that portrayed the character, Shaggy Rogers, as an incredibly OP, Godlike figure. This led to a petition to add Scooby’s munchies-loving best friend to the roster for Mortal Kombat 11, with that petition having 275,000+ signatures at the time of this writing. Although MK11’s director Ed Boon did respond to a fan about this petition on Twitter, he made it seem as if it were highly unlikely, though that hasn’t stopped Boon from having his own fun with this meme....
