Netflix is keeping Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown in its streaming stable for a new kind of starring vehicle in Enola Holmes. An adaptation of the Edgar Award-nominated young adult novel series of author Nancy Springer, the film will see the teen actress trading all things psychokinetic and Eggos for sleuthing in Victorian England, bearing a surname that obviously carries significant weight in the detective trade. The streaming giant has acquired the global rights (sans China,) to Springer’s The Enola Holmes Mysteries novels from Legendary Entertainment....

According to the description of an upcoming panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Blizzard could be unveiling Overwatch’s newest hero at the event. Scouring the SDCC schedule for July 21, fans might have noticed a panel with Overwatch developer Blizzard blatantly heralding the game’s newest hero. In “Behind the Scenes of Overwatch’s Newest Hero”, Blizzard intends to discuss the creative process of developing a new character, including art, design and story – without actually mentioning the hero’s name, of course....

As movie sets around the world begin to open up again and start production, images and rumors have begun swirling about all the major projects that have been delayed up until now. One of the biggest sets of delays up until now has been the 4th phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which will feature films like Black Widow, Guardians of the Galaxy 3, and Thor: Love and Thunder. Now that the Coronavirus pandemic is more under control than it once was, some film sets have gotten back to work, using the new safety protocols in place to continue filming in a more limited capacity....

Niantic has offered plenty of new additions to the roster of Pokemon GO since its release, and judging by newly discovered network data, many more Pokemon from multiple generations appear to be in development for a future release. Pokemon GO dataminer Chrales carefully analyzed network data for Pokemon GO and discovered that Smeargle, Nincada, Ninjask, and Shedinja, Clamperl and Huntail, Jirachi, and Deoxys are all currently hidden in that data. None of these Pokemon can currently be found or caught while playing Pokemon GO, and it doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re coming right away....

Dead By Daylight fans are getting a spooky treat this Halloween as Gaten Matarazzo, Ninja, JessicaBlevins, and Fog Whisperers OhTofu and JasonSulli team up for Stranger Things-themed matches. On October 31, the group will be live at noon EST for a two-hour stream on Twitch. In celebration of both Halloween and Stranger Things, the players will be taking on the roles of Survivors Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington, while the Killer is none other than the Demogorgon....

When the Nintendo Wii launched in 2006, Nintendo introduced the “Mii,” customizable avatars to represent the player. Two years ago the company released a smartphone app dedicated to Miis, “Miitomo.” Miitomo attempted to add a Nintendo touch to social media, and also link it to My Nintendo awards. Nintendo announced back in January that Miitomo would be shutting down on May 9th. Today, if you turn on the app, you will find an announcement from Nintendo stating that after Miitomo is gone, people will be able to create and edit Miis in web browsers....

No Man’s Sky contains unique alien races, each with their own languages to learn. Players will have to pick up new dialects in order to interact with the NPCs. Whilst we’re still not entirely sure what players will be doing in No Man’s Sky, according to a post on the PlayStation blog, Hello Games’ latest project will see players learning alien languages in order to interact with other races on one of the over 18 quintillion unique worlds that they can explore in the game....

Final Fantasy 14 fans are currently celebrating the announcement of the MMO’s newest expansion, Endwalker. Yet going by Endwalker’s announcement event, Square Enix sees a different reveal as more important. During the presentation, Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda took the stage to announce Final Fantasy 14 is coming to PlayStation 5. Such a major focus on the next-gen console port prompted fans to speculate that Final Fantasy 14 could be coming to Xbox Series X, too....

It may not have been Ubisoft’s best-kept secret, but the publisher has finally unveiled Assassin’s Creed Rogue with a cinematic trailer and some early details. While next-gen owners prepare to lead a revolution in Paris, France, those still sticking to the Xbox 360 and PS3 can look forward to another North American sailing adventure - one based on betrayal, revenge, and a less-than-tropical climate. Prior rumors suggested that not only would the game bear the title Rogue (a telling decision we’ll get to in a moment), but that it would bridge the gap between Assassin’s Creed 3 and Black Flag, which seems to indeed be the case....

Without lacing our guide with spoilers, Yagak is a boss fight in the latter stages of the Outriders campaign. You actually have to fight him twice, with the second encounter being the very last boss fight in the game. Both battles against Yagak are difficult, although the second takes the crown for the trickiest. On our first run through the Yagak fights, we set the World Tier to Nine and moved swiftly through it....

In Outriders, the max level for your character is 30. However, you can keep getting better gear by increasing World and Challenge Tiers, which make the enemies you fight more difficult. This gives you the opportunity to push your character’s stats even higher, despite not being able to earn more Class Points after the level cap. Although your character can only reach level 30, enemies can go as high as level 50....

Xbox’s gaming subscription service, Game Pass, keeps growing in value with every passing day. Already making hundreds of games available to players for a low monthly price, the recent acquisition of Bethesda’s parent company ZeniMax Media has made the service a lot more convincing for a massive chunk of gamers. In addition to this, the rumor mill keeps churning with the latest among the bunch being the addition of Ubisoft games on the platform....

Overwatch’s new hero, Jean-Baptiste Augustin, is here – well, not completely, as he’s only available to play with on the PC version’s Public Test Realm (PTR), but he should be available on all platforms pretty soon. Blizzard Entertainment teased the French medic’s arrival in a letter last week and, on Monday, they released an origin story for the player via YouTube. As far as the story goes, the character hails from Caribbean island Haiti and was orphaned as a result of the omnic crisis....

Overwatch’s new PvE mode Retribution is in full swing and many fans are enjoying the new Venice map, with quite a few wondering if it will make it into the game’s PvP modes. Jeff Kaplan, the title’s lead designer, addressed that question and the answer should please those curious fans. Overwatch’s official forums are where many of the game’s fans were asking when the map, called Rialto, would be appearing in PvP and that is where Kaplan provided an answer....
