Overwatch’s Anniversary 2019 event is now live, giving players the chance to collect basically every skin in the game as well as participate in all of seasonal game modes from the game’s past events. In addition to past skins, the Anniversary 2019 event for Overwatch also adds six new legendary skins to the game for players to collect, with each costing 3,000 coins. Five of the six characters to get new legendary skins for the Overwatch Anniversary 2019 event are characters who were in the game at launch....

Overwatch retail copies are to be delivered a day prior to launch, though launch is still scheduled for May 24. Overwatch fans across the internet are praying to Blizzard for a miracle. That by some act of benevolence, Overwatch’s open beta might return. That by some random act of mercy, Overwatch’s servers will go live early. As of yet no miracle has yet occurred, but that won’t end the Overwatch community’s dreams and memes....

While there’s no denying that Battlefield 3 is going to give Modern Warfare 3 a serious run for its money, and may even chip away at the franchise’s market share, there aren’t too many who would say that Battlefield 3 will outsell MW3. In fact, Michael Pachter of Wedbush Securities actually thinks that the two will combine for $1.4 Billion in Q4, making this a very profitable gaming season. His predictions for Modern Warfare 3 (16 Million units) does have the extremely popular Infinity Ward side of property nearly doubling Battlefield 3’s number (8 Million), but Battlefield 3’s number isn’t anything to be ashamed of....

I’m not very good at Monster Hunter Rise. Created by modder UberGrainy, this new mod changes the model for Xeno’jiiva, the final Elder Dragon from Monster Hunter World’s story, to that of a colossal Xenomorph Queen straight from the Alien franchise....

The official Xbox Game Pass Twitter may have just leaked some pretty big news. In a seemingly innocent exchange with another user, the account appears to have hinted that more Dragon Quest titles may hit the streaming service in the near future. A few days ago, one Twitter user made a comment regarding the recent addition of Dragon Quest Builders 2 to Game Pass. The user claimed that the addition of that game, plus the fact that they are still working through Dragon Quest XI, had given them more Dragon Quest “than [they] can take”....

Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Kollection is getting a physical re-release for the Nintendo Switch later this month—sort of. According to the product description Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Kollection will include character customization options, an expanded character selection, and no cartridge. Rather than a disk, Switch users will be given a redeemable game code. It could be that this decision stems from the pandemic, as there will only be a digital release available in the UK....

With comic book character Spawn officially confirmed for Mortal Kombat 11, we know that there are still at least two more guest DLC fighters that have yet to be revealed for the game. Previous datamines and leaks have offered up a variety of possibilities as to who the next Mortal Kombat 11 DLC character will be, and new evidence suggests that the next character to be revealed will be the previously-rumored Terminator....

Things have been pretty quiet for Nathan Drake since his next adventure, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, was teased at E3 2014 with a short cinematic teaser showing an older, wearier and literally washed up version of the adventurer embarking on what could be his final quest.
