This time Charlie Manx won’t be coming back. AMC has canceled supernatural horror drama NOS4A2 after two seasons. NOS4A2 showrunner Jami O’Brien broke the news via her Twitter feed, writing: “Well friends, I heard from AMC last week. We won’t be making a 3rd season of NOS4A2. It’s a bummer, but I’m grateful we were at least able to finish adapting the storyline from Joe Hill’s terrific novel. CONGRATULATIONS to every single member of our phenomenal team on two seasons of weird and wonderful TV....

Some bad news for those following Square Enix’s Outriders: the game is being delayed to early 2021 on all platforms. While the Stadia version was already set for late next year, it’s now being joined by the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One and PC releases. While the game is coming along fine, it seems that the challenge of shifting to work-from-home due to the coronavirus was too much....

People Can Fly has backtracked on its stance about the legendary loot farming in the Outriders demo. Players have been farming the Gauss bossfight in order to hoard legendary loot in the demo. Due to the fact that the demo progress carries over to the main launch, players who’ve farmed legendaries will be overpowered during the first few chapters of the game. Once the developer was aware of these exploits, it decided to change things up via the next patch....

Developer People Can Fly has been largely responsive to fan feedback concerning the company’s recently released demo for Outriders. The Outriders demo released for multiple platforms on February 25, and despite some connectivity issues and lower cutscene frame rates, gamers have had a lot of positive things to say about the game. The Overwatch League is gearing up for the approaching postseason with the qualifying matches for their final regular season tournament, the Countdown Cup, kicking off this weekend. After that, two more weeks of regular matches will be played before the playoffs begin. Finally, the league announced details for the postseason including the format, location and prize pool. The Nintendo Switch is getting more Monster Hunter titles than originally thought, as Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will be released Summer 2021. The original Monster Hunter Stories was released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2016. The game is a more kid-friendly RPG than the regular Monster Hunter games, as the player befriends the monsters and uses them as allies/mounts, unlike the mainline entries in the series, where the player brutally murders them and makes armor from their skin....

Monster Hunter World players on PS4 have already had the chance to unlock some Horizon: Zero Dawn-inspired armor for their Palico, and soon they will be able to complete their collection. Capcom has announced the dates and details of the next Horizon: Zero Dawn event quest in the game, with players able to unlock Aloy’s bow and armor from February 25 to March 3. The next Horizon: Zero Dawn event quest in Monster Hunter World is called The Proving, and it will give players a chance to earn the materials necessary to craft Aloy’s bow and armor....

Yesterday, during Sony’s State of Play livestream, where the publisher announced new and upcoming titles, fans of Capcom’s Monster Hunter World were treated to the official reveal of a massive update in the form of a new expansion titled Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, which Capcom technically confirmed earlier this year. While the promise of extra content should be enough to get the player base excited, Capcom has proudly proclaimed that this won’t be any run-of-the-mill expansion with just a couple of extra missions or something - in fact, it’s said to be as big as the original, base game....

It’s been a minute since we checked in on Star Citizen, so let’s see how many roadmap targets they’ve blown past now. It has now been eight years since development began on the most ambitious science-fiction simulation game ever made. Star Citizen has been in alpha since 2015, and since then has consistently missed its own deadlines and targeted launch dates. NetherRealm Studios isn’t done with Mortal Kombat 11 development yet. Wednesday morning NetherRealm announced Mortal Kombat 11’s next major DLC addition in Aftermath. Aftermath isn’t just another character DLC or season pass, though. Aftermath is bundling together a huge range of content including a new chapter of story, new fighters, the return of Friendship finishers, and more. To showcase the new content, NetherRealm’s released over 10 different screenshots. Most of the screenshots focus on Aftermath’s new three playable fighters, Robocop, Sheeva, and Fujin....
