The newest Fortnite trailer featuring Black Manta dropped a couple of days ago, and the it hints at a weapon that could be retunrining to the game. According to one eagle-eyed Redditor, one of the enemies killed in the game’s latest trailer drops a Heavy Assault Rifle. Though the weapon was first introduced to in Chapter 1, it was vaulted early on in Chapter 2. The Heavy AR is a fan-favorite weapon, so players are likely to see that it could be returning to Fortnite soon....

Nier Replicant was the first game in the series that was originally released for PlayStation 3. The game laid the groundwork for the series, but it wasn’t until Automata for the PlayStation 4 that the series became popular. Now that a remake has officially been released, players are trying to figure out how Replicant and Automata connect together. The return of Travis Touchdown has been pushed back, as No More Heroes 3 has officially been delayed until 2021. No More Heroes 3 is an upcoming hack and slash game that is intended to be exclusive for the Nintendo Switch. Dragon Age: Origins is a bona fide gem. While it launched way back in 2009, it holds up remarkably well today. I replayed Origins via Game Pass a couple of weeks ago and, aside from a couple of dodgy checkpoints, it was as smooth as Zevran after a few bottles of wine - that’s pretty damn smooth. While we all have our favourite Origins companion - mine is Morrigan - and know what happened with the Blight, I rarely see anyone discussing what I think is one of the best quests in the entire Dragon Age series....

Capcom reveals its interest in possibly revisiting the classic action-adventure series Onimusha with a revival of the franchise for the current generation. During an online interview with the UK outlet Daily Mail, long-time video game producer for Capcom, Yoshinori Ono, discussed the likelihood of bringing back the fan-favorite and critically acclaimed Onimusha series. When speaking about the issue, Ono said that the notion is attractive to him, but it’s only in the “discussion phase” at the moment....

Outer Wilds DLC has been discovered in Steam’s database, and the game’s creators appear to have confirmed it’s legitimate and probably coming soon. Almost two years after it was first released, information regarding some potential DLC has been discovered for The Outer Wilds. Simon Carless appears to have been the first to make the discovery, or at least the first to share it, as he posted a link to where he found the information on Steam....

Overwatch director Jeff Kaplan discusses rumors that loot drop rates changed for the recent Lunar New Year event, denying that drop rates were amended. The success of Overwatch is undeniable, with the title now able to claim a huge 25 million registered players, and the reasons behind the popularity of the game are clear for all to see. While the basic mechanics of the shooter are extremely good fun, Blizzard has also put of a lot of effort into making tweaks to the game since launch, including putting on fun events for players....

Overwatch has been an excellent example of what good post-launch support should look like. Blizzard regularly adds new content to the game and frequently runs limited time events, like the Year of The Pig event that’s currently running. It seems Blizzard has no intention of slowing down either, as another new map has just been added to the game’s test servers. The new map will take Overwatch players to Paris, and it appears to be among the more interesting levels to be implemented into the game....

Overwatch players can see possible future changes to characters first-hand via the Experimental mode available in-game, which allows the developers to gauge players’ reactions to upcoming changes, and see how those changes play out before release. In a recent Overwatch update, three characters have been changed in the Experimental mode. These heroes are Baptiste, D.Va, and Reinhardt, with Baptiste getting nerfed and the aforementioned tank heroes getting buffed. Whether or not these changes will go forward to the main game is entirely based on how these changes perform in the Experimental mode....

In an effort to limit the damage done by cheaters to the title’s online gameplay, a recent update has made aimbots a thing of the past in Blizzard’s Overwatch. Alongside the launch of the new space-themed Horizon Lunar Colony map, the latest content patch for the first-person shooter has vastly diminished the effectiveness of auto-aim software. According to a post on the team-based shooter’s subreddit, the game’s Korean forums have noticed a new change that has eliminated the vast majority of aimbots....

It appears that Blizzard has snuck a buff for Mercy in the latest Overwatch PTR. The July 15th update is one that many fans hope will revive one of the original heroes and bring some more balance to an ever-changing meta. Recently Blizzard provided one of its constant updates for Overwatch, mainly attending to bugs and amending minor adjustments to the popular game. Players found a new change to Mercy that seemingly adjusts her Valkyrie suit and the way she maneuvers around the map....

The release of Monster Hunter World has undoubtedly been a major boon for Capcom, as the publisher and developer explained several months ago that the action role-playing game’s launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One was one of the main factors involved in bringing the company to its “highest level of profitability”. Now, it’s not much longer before the title releases for PC, and Capcom seems intent on selling even more copies by catering to the modding community with the reveal that the game will get Steam Workshop support for mods....
