Blizzard is continuing its crusade against the toxicity that has permeated every facet of Overwatch. Online games where people are paired with strangers will inevitably have some toxic players, but Overwatch has accumulated more than its fair share. It’s so bad that many steps are constantly being taken to curb it, and it’s been stated many times that it is a top priority for Blizzard. The latest action being taken is a change in how players report these bad eggs – or rather, what happens after they do....

It’s been a busy week at Gamescom, and if you were on the edge of your seat waiting for news about the latest installment in the Thief franchise, then developers Eidos-Montréal have delivered. The new game, a reboot that’s titled simply Thief, finds Garrett returning to the city where he grew up, only to find it torn apart by a tyrannical Baron and a rising revolution. The new trailer for Thief is called “Uprising,” and focuses on the revolution, the man leading it and the men against whom it is being led....

Batman: The Long Halloween is a two-part adaptation of the iconic comic book, and our first look at Part One has dawned a new trailer. It was recently confirmed that Jensen Ackles would be joining the cast to voice Bruce Wayne and the Caped Crusader, which would make it the actor’s second trip to Gotham....

It wouldn’t be a proper weekend without a new Call of Duty: Warzone bug raising its head at players. Coming right on the heels of the new version of the third person bug is the danger of losing items to stairs. It seems that some staircases in the game can eat a player’s dropped items, making them dangerous areas for teams to trade loot. Call of Duty: Warzone has seen items go missing before, most recently to Munitions boxes stealing ammo rather than supplying it....

When Microsoft Flight Simulator launched during the summer of 2020, it did so under never before seen circumstances for the series. It opened up the possibility of seeing most of the world in a marvelously recreated fashion at a time when the pandemic grounded all air travel. Yet, despite its impressive and beautiful graphics, Flight Simulator is a far from finished product, but is instead one that’s likely to be updated for years to come....

Ever since Capcom announced the upcoming remake of its classic survival-horror game, Resident Evil 3, the studio has been consistent in releasing preview trailers, gameplay footage, and even a playable demo to keep fans excited. While previous trailers of the game focused on Resident Evil 3’s iconic villain Nemesis, Capcom just released a new preview that pulls focus on the upcoming game’s heroine, Jill Valentine. Unlike previous trailers of Resident Evil 3, the latest one opened with a short preview of Resident Evil Resistance, which revealed that Jill Valentine herself will be a playable character that will be added in a future update....

The Tomb Raider films were known for three things: over-the-top action, nonsensical stories, and Angelina Jolie. However, the new film will be following the trends of its video game counterpart: most noticeably, there will be no Angelina. The latest video game entry in the Tomb Raider franchise offers a more mature take on the tired and true treasure hunting series, as evidenced by the “Shipwreck” trailer. Gone is the busty Lara Croft of old in a favor of a more realistic protagonist, as the new game focuses on Lara’s more human side rather than her ability to survive everything the world throws at her....
