Marvel’s highly anticipated new Disney+ series Moon Knight will begin streaming on March 30, but ahead of the show’s debut a select group of people have already been invited to watch the first four episodes. Their reactions seem to be overwhelmingly positive, with one saying “it’s the best MCU TV show ever.” There are enthusiastic variations on Moon Knight being like nothing we’ve seen in the MCU to date, and Oscar Isaac’s lead performance has also been praised, but the show does apparently have a few issues and I’m sure we’ll find out what they are, or how much they might personally bother us, when we get to see it for ourselves....

The Mortal Kombat series never fails to provide a bevy of slick fighting game mechanics and a whole lot of gore. To celebrate Mortal Kombat 11 and its Aftermath Kollection DLC, the official Mortal Kombat YouTube channel released an After-Aftermath awards trailer on January 21 to show off the best and the bloodiest the game has to offer. An anonymous source working for developer Capcom, along with various social media posts, have revealed that the company has laid off around fifty employees as part of a reorganization effort to aid production of the studio’s next Dead Rising game. The layoffs occurred at Capcom Vancouver, the Japanese developer’s Canadian branch, which is located in the city of Burnaby. According to social media site LinkedIn, the Canadian studio had around 250 employees, which suggests that one-fifth of the workforce has now been laid off....

Nioh 2 has finally returned to the spotlight following a big information blowout by Koei Tecmo. The publisher recently announced a Nioh 2 Remaster and Complete Edition package for 2021, alongside confirmation of the long awaited PC port. With PC player finally happy to have a crack at developer Team Ninja’s Souls-like samurai sequel, PlayStation 4 players are still waiting on some outstanding DLC. Koei Tecmo confirms that while PC and PlayStation 5 players will have to wait until February for a Nioh 2 complete bundle, existing PlayStation 4 players won’t have to wait all that long to conclude the journey....

Team Ninja, the developer for the recent action-RPG Nioh 2, has recently teased that there might be announcements coming soon for new titles expected for the new year. This comes alongside a reminder that the Nioh Collection is coming to PS5 and PC later this year as well, meaning that the developer is managing quite a few high-priority releases in 2021.
