The first big Apex Legends tournament event is now concluded. The Twitch Rivals Apex Legends Challenge featured 16 teams of Twitch streamers and competitive esports professionals indirectly battling it out with a prize pool of over $200,000 to be split between two regional tournaments. The North American tournament came down to the wire, and was decided by just a single point. None other than Twitch’s most popular streamer, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, and his team King’s Canyon took the victory....

The latest update for Nioh 2 on PC fixed several lingering mouse and keyboard issues, including a bug that prevented actions from being performed after rebinding certain keys. A few smaller adjustments were also made to various icons and UI elements. Nioh 2 released a patch back in March that fixed many of the keyboard and mouse problems, although a few managed to slip through the cracks. Today’s update 1.27.2 is another step in the right direction – providing PC players with a much-improved playing experience....

The sum from both retail and digital sales of Nioh have broken the one million unit marker, Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja announced. The figure was reported by Gematsu (via gamer.ne.jp). It will be delivered via update 1.04, which will also include some in-game fixes, and should be released some time today. In celebration of this achievement, Team Ninja will be giving out the Golden Nioh Armor to players as a thank you....

You may have heard by now that Microsoft is buying Minecraft developer Mojang for a massive $2.5 billion. Rumors of the deal began popping up last week, but Microsoft and Mojang officially announced the deal was going through today. However, Mojang co-founder Markus ‘Notch’ Persson won’t be around after the sell, as he’s decided to leave the company behind along with two of other Mojang co-founders. It can be easy to forget thanks to the onslaught of bug-filled videos filling social media, but Cyberpunk 2077 has a photo mode. And it’s pretty good, too. You can take any character from the game, pose them however you want, apply filters, expressions, different backgrounds, and do almost anything you can think of to get that picture-perfect shot. Pine, the open-world adventure game from Twirlbound and Kongregate, is now available on PS4. The title was originally released for PC and Nintendo Switch back in 2019, but is just now finding itself a home on Sony’s last-gen console. Pine sees you step into the shoes of Hue, a “clever young adult” who is exploring the island of Albamare as he helps a small human tribe find a new home. The island is bursting with unique flora and fauna, many of which are competing for food and space to call home....

Morphies Law has relaunched in Remorphed form, hoping to shed its poor initial reception while also debuting a truly unique new demo.
