While sitting down for a recent interview on The Graham Norton Show, Ewan McGregor finally spilled the beans on exactly when the highly anticipated series starring Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi will begin production. The still unnamed Star Wars project from Disney was announced in 2019, yet not many details are known about it, aside from McGregor being on board to reprise his role Lucasfilm has given away very little about the plot points that will drive the show, but Disney’s initial statement did confirm that it would be set 8 years after the events seen in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, when Obi-Wan is last seen dropping off baby Luke Skywalker to his foster parents on Tatooine....

Yesterday at 9 AM EST, Nvidia began taking orders for the all-new Geforce RTX 3070. What is widely expected to be the new king of mid-range performance, reviews promise a card that can compete with the RTX 2080Ti at less than half the cost. For Pac-Man’s 40th anniversary, Bandai Namco is giving fans three new ways to play the iconic title. At the end of 1979, 27-year-old Namco employee Toru Iwatani was eyeing three-quarters of a pizza when he thought of the idea for Pakkuman, a puck-shaped character who eats to survive. The official name was changed to Pac-Man prior to Western release (executives were rightfully fearful that Puck-Man would inspire clever vandals), and the game went on to gross nearly $1 billion in quarters after a single year....

Sony has not officially announced the PlayStation 5 yet and is still focusing on the PS4 and the PS4 Pro. But this hasn’t stopped some from making predictions about what the console might offer to players and how much they would have to pay for it. Ponpu - from indie developer Purple Tree Studio and publisher Zordix Publishing - is an upcoming party game that meshes classic gameplay mechanics in crazy new ways. Microsoft promised that there’d be more games getting an FPS Boost on Xbox Series X, and it looks like today they deliver in a big way. May 3 marks the biggest number of games getting the FPS Boost treatment to date, with 74 new titles getting either double or sometimes quadruple their previous frame rates. For those out of the loop, FPS Boost is basically Microsoft’s fancy term for games that have been updated to take advantage of the Xbox Series X/S’s beefier hardware....
