Sonic Team boss Takashi likuza has revealed that the company is currently working on the next major installment of the Sonic the Hedgehog series, but it probably won’t be out this year. The last two Sonic the Hedgehog games received very positive reviews, with Sonic Mania and Sonic Forces having both launched in 2017. So this is rather exciting news, apart from the fact that the upcoming game could be under wraps for a while....
New Super Lucky’s Tale is making its way to PS4 and Xbox One. The original Lucky’s Tale was a virtual reality title released for the Oculus Rift, but a more traditional sequel titled Super Lucky’s Tale was released for Xbox One. Finally, New Super Lucky’s Tale, an upgraded version of the Xbox One game, was released last year for Nintendo Switch. The game’s levels are separated into 3D mini collect-a-thons, and 2D side-scrollers....
CD Projekt Red releases new screenshots that help provide some clues toward what gamers can expect from Geralt and friends in The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine expansion. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was an unbridled success last year, with many critics agreeing that its main content constituted the best RPG of 2015 in a year that also saw the release of Bethesda’s Fallout 4. Not content to rest on its laurels, CD Projekt Red followed up its already incredible pace with an expansion for The Witcher 3 called Hearts of Stone, which was the first expansion of two planned DLC offerings....

The latest in a string of E3 2019 leaks has revealed Bleeding Edge, a brand new IP from DmC: Devil May Cry and Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice developer Ninja Theory. Bleeding Edge is a 4v4 online multiplayer melee combat game featuring a roster of unique characters, each with their own abilities. Bleeding Edge’s reveal was unfortunately not intended for today, but likely the Xbox E3 2019 press conference on June 9. Nevertheless, a camera recording of Bleeding Edge’s announcement trailer has leaked, complete with a “CONFIDENTIAL” disclaimer written across the screen....
Popular Twitch streamer GrandPooBear has again fallen foul of Nintendo for reasons unknown as the company has deleted his latest Super Mario Maker 2 level. GrandPooBear has uploaded a video out explaining his confusion with Nintendo dating back to 2016. At this point in time, something similar had occurred. Nintendo deleted all of the levels he’d made in the first installment of the Super Mario Maker series without explanation. Moreover, according to his account, he was told that there were no violations when he contacted them by phone....
It’s not unusual for supplies of hardware and software products to be limited, but it can be frustrating for those waiting to buy theirs. Nvidia’s RTX 30 GPU series is no exception and while supplies are likely to be tight for a while, Nvidia’s Chief Financial Officer, Colette Kress, has said the company’s graphics cards will become more readily available by Q2 of 2021. This means that the RTX 30 series will be hard to come by as stock levels are likely to continue to be restricted up until around April or even through May....
Onimusha was once a popular franchise for Capcom, with the original game selling over 2 million units and earning some critical praise. Unfortunately for fans of Capcom’s unique blend of samurai action and survival-horror elements though, Onimusha has been dormant since 2006 (not counting the 2012 browser-based game Onimusha Soul). That changes early next year. In a surprise announcement, Capcom has revealed that the first game in the series, Onimusha: Warlords, is being ported to current-generation game consoles and Steam on January 15, 2019....
Original Xbox creator Seamus Blackley has already done plenty to shape the world of gaming. Now, “the father of Xbox” has an idea that might save many classic games from the dustbin of history. On February 3rd, Blackley tweeted a picture of a silver and green x-shaped device. This unique-looking machine is his pitch for a new console that would allow users to stream original Xbox games. People responded well to this idea, and Blackley now plans to pitch the concept to Microsoft’s VP of Gaming, Phil Spencer....
The new escort map, Junktertown, has just become available on the Overwatch PTR, but only for PC players at this time. After only a week since the map’s announcement, the derelict town Junkrat and Roadhog call home is ready for testing. Unfortunately, there’s no word on when the map will be available on the PTR for consoles, nor is there information on when the map is expected to go live. Typically, maps don’t spend too much time being tested before they’re released, so it should go live relatively soon....
Four new skins have been revealed as part of Overwatch’s upcoming anniversary event, giving new looks to Bastion, Pharah, Soldier 76, and Zarya. While this is probably not all the exclusive anniversary loot boxes have to offer, it’s a good way to raise hype for the already highly-anticipated event. In a move to increase Middle East/North Africa region programming Netflix has released its very first Egyptian original series. This is Paranormal, a six part horror series based on the novels of best selling author Ahmed Khaled Tawfik. The show is set in the 60s and follows the adventures of Dr. Refaat Ismail (Ahmed Amin), a haematologist who is confronted by various supernatural occurrences he finds it increasingly difficult to explain with science....
We know that the infamous yokai of Japanese folklore have inspired the lore of many fandoms, including Pokemon. Another franchise that has been influenced by these spirits is the action-RPG Monster Hunter, specifically its new title Rise. The upcoming title’s monster origins were discussed at length during recent interviews, along with Rise’s slew of weapons. During an interview with Japanese website Famitsu, Monster Hunter Rise director Yasunori Ichinose disclosed the changes within Rise that separate it from the rest of the franchise....
In Monster Hunter World, players can collect investigation quests that allow them to hunt the same monsters repeatedly for added awards. These investigations, more specifically threat level 2 tempered investigations, are actually one of the best ways to farm rare decorations in the game, which are necessary for players to truly reach their full potential as a hunter. Getting investigations in Monster Hunter World is done by finding traces of a monster while out on expeditions or quests....
