It’s been almost a year since the Spike VGAs brought us the first teaser trailer for Mass Effect 3, a reveal that was initially thought to be for a completely different BioWare game. Now, with another BioWare reveal on the horizon, gamers will finally get to put their speculation hats back on, and this time the end product should be a new IP. This new unnamed title was briefly teased in screenshot form, a screenshot that had a much more military focus, and now a new trailer has been released that further reaffirms that sensibility....

Rumors of Devil May Cry 5 currently being in development have been in circulation since it was suggested that the game was meant to appear at PlayStation Experience last year. A recent PlayStation E3 showcase leak again alluded to the idea that Capcom may definitely be working on another installment in the popular series. Now, it seems that another leak has all but confirmed that a new Devil May Cry title may soon be revealed....

Once upon a game, THQ Games was set to develop an official Avengers game for the Xbox 360 (and, presumably, PS3). Set in a first-person perspective, it would have featured the current lineup of MCU stars circa 2011 and coincide with the release of the monumental film almost a decade ago. During a weekend that offered up many major announcements about new Star Wars video games, the confirmation that a new LEGO Star Wars game is in development could have almost slipped through the cracks. The confirmation of the game was so casual that it may have been an accident. The announcement came during The Star Wars Show Live! which was being streamed from the Star Wars Celebration event in Chicago. Matthew Wood, who has worked as a supervising sound editor on many Star Wars films and TV shows and has also done voice acting for the franchise, let the news slip during an interview on the stream....

Marvel’s Avengers has assembled quite the new-gen update for the PS5 and the Xbox Series X, but the file sizes eclipse what the PS4 and Xbox One versions stored. According to MP1st, Marvel’s Avengers will take up 74GB of storage on the PS5 and 107GB on the Xbox Series X. While the leap isn’t as gigantic on the PS5 (64GB), the Xbox Series X version is more than double the size of its predecessor (58GB)....

Fortnite streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins has dabbled in the game’s competitive world, with his standout performance in KEEMSTAR’s Friday tournament was able to force a game three, surprising viewers. Nintendo has released a patch for the defunct Swapnote app on Nintendo 3DS, with a name that suggests that it could be receiving a remaster. Swapnote (also known as Nintendo Letter Box in Europe) was a drawing app for the Nintendo 3DS. It allowed players to draw four-page letters and send them to the people on their Friend list with SpotPass, or attach one as a file that could be sent through StreetPass....

Last weekend, the New York PD received a phone call that a teenager from the Upper East Side had gone missing and hadn’t been heard from in several hours. People Can Fly studio is about to release its Destiny-like sci-fi game Outriders, set in a unique universe on the planet Enoch, where people gain supernatural abilities. We haven’t heard much about Overwatch 2 since Blizzard announced it in 2019, but there’s good news for patient fans. Game director Jeff Kaplan has confirmed we’ll be hearing more about the anticipated game soon at BlizzCon. Revealed as part of their latest developer update, Jeff Kaplan advised that we’d learn more during BlizzCon Online, a digital-only event which replaces their traditional live show after cancelling it due to the COVID-19 pandemic....

Fans of multiplayer, character-driven games have long been creating their own custom character skin ideas. Many of those concepts combine them with other facets of popular culture, such as one Apex Legends concept turning Revenant into Star Wars’ General Grievous. Yesterday, one Overwatch fan unveiled their take on the game’s infamous gunslinger McCree as Woody from the blockbuster Pixar series Toy Story. Andy Bohan is the general manager for the Celtic Wolfhounds, Ireland’s Overwatch World Cup team, but they also create content for the game through the Overwatch Workshop as well as 3D models and animations in Blender....

Last week, Blizzard revealed Overwatch’s 27th hero to be none other than Torbjorn’s daughter Brigitte, a new support class hero. Despite Brigitte being new to the game, though, some fans noticed that she looked very familiar, and we now know why. As pointed out by Reddit user Pillow_1, Brigitte and Mercy, another support hero in Overwatch, have very similar facial features. In fact, their faces are almost identical, except Brigitte has a slightly larger head and darker skin tone....
