Oddworld: Soulstorm has been rated by the ESRB for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. The Oddword Inhabitants game has been given a Teen rating as it contains blood and gore, strong language, tobacco consumption, and violence. The rating was spotted by Gematsu on the ESRB website. The platformer is a retelling of Abe’s Exoddus as it illustrates the liberation of the Mudokons from Rupture Farms. It features puzzle based platforming via which you must get Abe and his people to safety....

Whenever it’s an option, one of the most exciting parts of starting a new game is customizing the player character. Designing the protagonist is a great way for players to get invested in their role in the game. The creators of Cyberpunk 2020 have just released a simplified version of The Witcher Roleplaying Game. You can download your free copy, called Witcher: Easy Mode, over at DriveThruRPG right now. It’s a cut down version of the tabletop game by CD Projekt Red and Fantasy Flight games, which has been adapted by Cody Pondsmith and J Gray. Pondsmith and Gray are the same people behind the Cyberpunk 2020 tabletop RPG, on which the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 is based....

Steam’s weekly Top Sellers list is out and there doesn’t seem to be much of a shuffle at the top. Outriders and It Takes Two have secured the top two spots for the second week in a row. Outriders had a rocky start with players facing server issues, and in extreme cases, an entire inventory wipe. While People Can Fly addressed the server issues, the inventory wipe led to a few players completely dropping off; that’s understandable if you’re 100 plus hours into the game with a full inventory....

About a couple of weeks ago, Brigitte was revealed as the 27th hero coming to the team-based shooter Overwatch, with Blizzard Entertainment having confirmed her existence as a playable character in the title by way of an origin story trailer. One of the biggest surprises of the current Overwatch League season has been the success of the Paris Eternal. Last year’s Eternal was consistently ranked among the lower half of teams, so the announcement that star Contenders player Sp9rk1e was signing with Paris during the off season came as a surprise to most. A recent nerf in Path of Exile has all but done away with a fan favorite crafting system known as Harvest Crafting. With the introduction of last year’s Harvest league, players could gather caches of seeds, plant them, and kill the monsters that spawned out of them in order to craft items. Following Mortal Kombat 11’s first render of Sindel revealing that she was still a Revenant, many thought it was safe to assume that Nightwolf would be as well. The tomahawk and Nightwolf’s boot was all that had been revealed to that point, seemingly aiding the consensus, yet creative director Ed Boon recently revealed a new MK11 Nightwolf image that showcased him in his human form, leading many to ask whether or not Nightwolf is still a Revenant....

EVO 2019 is almost upon us, and we are in for a wild weekend in the Mortal Kombat 11 scene as the best players in the world duke it out. Kombat Pack owners have two more DLC expansions to look forward to for Mortal Kombat X. NetherRealm kicked off the post-launch DLC support for the extremely popular fighting game with the addition of 80’s slasher movie icon Jason Voorhees as a part of the Horror Pack, and now another 80’s film killer is set to make his debut sooner rather than later. The latest patch for Mortal Kombat X brings with it a number of gameplay fixes and tweaks, but more importantly, it lays the groundwork for the upcoming Prey DLC pack, which is headlined by the inclusion of Predator from the film series of the same name....

With Ubisoft focusing on their flagship Assassin’s Creed franchise and acting as a leader in developing games for new platforms and supporting motion control devices, it felt as if the Rainbow Six series had been pushed aside. Rumors back in May changed that when developer resumes suggested that another Rainbow Six title may be in development. Five months later and thanks to a domain name registration, Ubisoft confirmed this was true with the reveal of Rainbow 6 Patriots, providing artwork and the cover art for the title along with a rough release date of 2013....
