With the newest update for Overwatch having headed into PTR, which included not only the Rialto map, but a Hanzo rework, people have been busy trying out his new setup. It seems that it hasn’t come without its hiccups, though, as an exploit or bug may have been found that makes one of Hanzo’s new abilities a bit overpowered. Posted by Reddit user ow_jaybee, a GIF shows a manipulation of his new Lunge ability, which allows Hanzo to make a horizontal mid-air dash after jumping, being used to great effect....

With Overwatch’s one year anniversary coming up on May 24th, many fans are expecting Blizzard to start the next in-game event on that day. As it turns out, there’s now new datamining evidence that supports this idea, as it looks as though Blizzard is preparing to add a slew of new cosmetic items and more to Overwatch. Reddit user FailCraft, also known by his YouTube name Hammeh, has recently uploaded a video explaining his datamining findings....

The Guangzhou Charge did it. They successfully freed Fragi and allowed Bischu to grace us with his presence once again. When the Charge first made the announcement that they had picked up two new members for the team, fans of the Overwatch League couldn’t be more excited those two players were none other than Fragi and Bischu. Racing games have been a staple of the video game market for decades, and even the Nintendo Switch will be getting its very own NASCAR game. While racing games are popular, monster trucks games are few and far between. Monster Truck Championship has been the most recent one, and it will be heading to the PS5 and Xbox Series X next month. Monster Truck Championship was developed by Teyon, a Polish game studio that is also known for games like Rambo: The Video Game, and Terminator: Resistance....

Although at the time, the Mortal Kombat movie was ridiculed for its goofy story, acting, and visual effects, the film has taken on a cult status since. So much so that several filmmakers have attempted to make a proper Mortal Kombat movie with modern technology and cinematic techniques, but none had successfully got their projects off the ground…until now. The Mortal Kombat movie is finally a go and will start filming in South Australia in the Adelaide Studios Sound Stage, and once it is complete the film will release in theaters on March 5, 2021....

G Stone and SNK announce the NEO GEO MVSX arcade cabinet, a replica of the arcade cabinet that launched in the early 1990s. It’s part of what seems to be a home arcade gaming renaissance, with the Sega Dreamcast getting a new arcade racing game this month, nearly 20 years after the console was discontinued. The arcade machine replica features 50 popular SNK games. Multiple games from the run and gun series Metal Slug are on there, along with fighting game series King of Fighters and Samurai Shodown....

Streaming viewers who’ve been binging through Chappelle’s Show on Netflix are now officially out of luck. In response to a request from Dave Chappelle, Netflix removed the program from its streaming service in the wee hours of November 24th. Chappelle spoke on the subject when he recently hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live, during his monologue. Viacom, the corporate owner of Comedy Central, had licensed out Chappelle’s Show for broadcast to Netflix without paying Chappelle....

After years of waiting, the time has finally come. Announced via the upcoming DC FanDome schedule, it seems fans will be getting their first look at WB Montreal’s newest project, which is all but confirmed to be the next entry in the widely acclaimed Batman Arkham franchise. The actual reveal will take place on August 22 at 10:30 (PT) and will be held over a 20-minute event which will also include a Q/A session with WB Montreal itself....

Quite a lot has transpired since the initial release of Borderlands 3 back in September of last year. With multiple online events, a cacophony of Shift codes, and four full length DLC campaigns already released, Borderlands 3 has witnessed its fair share of success. Although, this new and upcoming online mode will feature the return of two very familiar characters. The idea to add a battle royale/roguelike style online mode to Borderlands 3 in the form of Arms Race was a rather unexpected, yet interesting move....

There’s no doubt that Agent 47 fans are eager to slip into the assassin’s shoes once again in Hitman 2, especially after Warner Bros. Interactive and IO Interactive showed off the sequel with a gameplay trailer at E3 2018. Now, the publisher and developer are ready to offer even more details about the forthcoming stealth-action title, by giving players a glimpse into the game’s Colombia mission. As seen in the trailer below, Hitman 2 sends Agent 47 to the heart of a Colombian rainforest–the remote village of Santa Fortuna to be exact–and he is tasked with taking out three high-profile targets, each a leader of the Delgado Cartel....

Over the last couple of years, few features have been as crucial to the Xbox brand as Game Pass. Providing countless acclaimed games for one fixed monthly cost, the service has become a significant focus for Microsoft, allowing the publisher to push some of its riskiest titles to much bigger audiences than before thanks to its low price tag. According to a new interview with The Guardian, it seems fans have Game Pass to thank for some of their favorite releases this year, with head of Xbox Phil Spencer revealing the company decided to greenlight several recent projects purely because of the service....

After his controversial split from Konami, Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima formed a new studio and released his first game, Death Stranding, in 2019. Beginning life as a PS4 exclusive, it was later ported to PC with a number of extra bells and whistles. Kojima Productions’ latest financial report shows that Death Stranding on PC was a huge success for the company and has made a total of $27 million in revenue....

It’s difficult to think back to the humble beginnings of Minecraft and try to fathom just how huge the game has become over the years. It’s easily one of the most successful and popular franchises in video gaming history, and despite hundreds of millions of players still going strong and a plethora of new things being added to it, it shows no signs of slowing down as new technology is enabling even more people to get involved....

2021 has just begun and with it came a new pair of surreal trailers for Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ series WandaVision. Along with name dropping the Avengers in one trailer, the other has an interesting surprise for Frozen fans. The official WandaVision Twitter account posted a new teaser trailer, which still appears to prefer keeping audiences as confused as possible. But while very little new information was given on these new adventures of Wanda Maximoff and the android Vision (as well as how Vision is alive again after his very canon death in Avengers: Infinity War), many viewers may have missed one tidbit that was staring them in the… ears?...

Despite having been out for only a day, the Nier Replicant remaster already saw its fans fixing up annoying glitches associated with the game’s PC port. Unfortunately, problematic PC ports aren’t exactly a rarity when it comes to the Nier series. 2017’s Nier: Automata has a notoriously buggy PC port, riddled with stuttering animations and locked frame rates, and while an improved version was released on the Microsoft Store four year later, it’s still not at 100%....

Something exciting is coming to Nioh 2 early next month. To celebrate the release of the Nioh Collection on PlayStation 5, Koei Tecmo have said they will be including free armor sets for fans. The sets will be available to download between February 5-26 so there’s still time to grab a copy for those interested. The collection includes Nioh 2 Remastered: The Complete Edition in and the free patch will contain two armor sets in particular: ornate gold and the Sohaya deserter garb....
