Before you get too excited, it looks like Sam is just a rejected AI companion, so maybe Bixby lives to see another day. In an article from HITC (via Polygon), we’ve learned that a company called Lightfarm drummed up these renders of Sam with the Cheil Agency....

The PlayStation 4 port for Night Call has been canceled by developers Black Muffin and Monkey Moon. The announcement of its cancellation was made on the game’s official Twitter account. Night Call had been released on other platforms prior to the PS4 port’s cancellation, including both the Nintendo Switch and the Xbox One. However, its PS4 version was abruptly canceled due to poor sales and conflicts between the game’s original developers and those behind the game’s port....

Bloober Team and publisher Koch Media are teaming up to bring Observer: System Redux and The Medium to physical stores (thanks, Gematsu). Koch Media CEO Dr. Klemens Kundratitz has said that the company is “thrilled to work with them on their growing game portfolio globally.” This could mean that perhaps more Bloober Team games are on the way to physical shelves. He said both Observer: System Redux and The Medium “fit perfectly to [the company’s] diversified games lineup....

The creator of the Cartoon Network series Over The Garden Wall, Patrick McHale, has been tapped to direct a Netflix feature film adaptation of the beloved fantasy adventure series Redwall. Netflix owns the rights for all 22 books in Brian Jaques’ classic series and will also have a TV series in the works. The name Redwall refers to an abbey that serves as the setting for the battles of good and evil between different species of rodents and other anthropomorphic animals over the course of the book series....
