The Wii Fit Trainer’s reign of terror in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate may finally be over. The newest patch for the game, ver. 11.0.1, offers a single update to Smash, increasing Wii Fit Trainer’s cool down period after their special Header move. This comes after an accidental buff from Nintendo that made the Wii Fit Trainer more difficult to manage. In the previous update for the game, ver. 11.0.0, the Wii Fit Trainer received an improvement to their gameplay that wasn’t outlined or explained in the official changelog, which is commonly referred to as a “shadow buff” by the Smash community....

While typically unlocked through beating sections of gameplay or perhaps for finishing a particular challenge, NieR: Automata is planning on changing the way PlayStation trophies function. In an unprecedented move, recent screenshots have come to light showing that players will be able to discover a secret shop in game that sells system level trophies players can buy. Before this shop is officially open however, players need to first finish the game three times....

Ninjala introduces its third season since launch, adding a ton of new content and a small musical collaboration with Japanese singer, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. Players can download season 3 of Ninjala now and get started exploring the new content, but they may want to focus their efforts on the collaboration since it ends on November 25th. The collaboration adds Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s hit song “Ninja Re Bang Bang Steve Aoki Remix” as a BGM to play during battles, but also adds a few other things....

Marvelous Inc. held an hour long presentation today that was intended to show off some of their upcoming games. The most interesting of these titles was their upcoming Senran Kagura game for the Nintendo Switch. This is the title that aims to use the Joy-Cons to simulate the sensation of touching someone. Shinobi Rifure: Senran Kagura is the name of an upcoming Nintendo Switch game, where you use the Joy-Cons to give massages to busty ninja girls....

There’s no doubting the global popularity of the Nintendo Switch at this point. The founder of Hello Games, Sean Murray, declares that he is “totally okay” with people disliking the gameplay style of the space exploration and survival title No Man’s Sky. There may not have been a racing title that I was looking forward to more this year than Zordix Racing’s Overpass. Overwatch principal designer Geoff Goodman reveals a number of new balance changes that are coming for Bastion, such as increased magazine size and a tweaked self-repair mechanic. Following the release of Overwatch last May, it didn’t take long for players to declare the defensive weapon of war (and bird aficionado) Bastion to be overpowered. While numerous balance changes and updates have come to the game since launch, Bastion has remained largely untouched and this has resulted in him becoming one of the characters with the lowest win and pick rate....

There once was a point when Overwatch fans thought that Overwatch 2 would launch in 2021. Unfortunately, it has since been confirmed that the Overwatch 2 release date isn’t going to be until 2022 at the earliest, so fans of the hero-shooter will need to make due with the original game until then. WWE’s ongoing effort to take control of its contracted wrestlers’ third-party work, including services like Twitch and Cameo, is taking a massive step forward. Friday, October 2, was the deadline for WWE talent to hand over their accounts to WWE or to end those business relationships. WWE’s threatened to fine, suspend, or outright fire employees who do not do so. The deadline has prompted responses from many WWE talent, but Paige in particular is sharing her frustrations publically....

One of the defining features of Parasite, South Korean director Bong Joon-ho’s award-winning dark comedy about class struggle, was the Park family’s lavish house. However, the house does not exist in real life and was actually created by the film’s CG team. In a newly released interview, Joon-ho says that the team created a virtual version of the house that could be navigated like a video game to help Joon-ho storyboard the movie....

Futurlab has just announced a new game based on the hit BBC series Peaky Blinders, titled Peaky Blinders: Mastermind, which gives players a chance to control the show’s ensemble. The game promises to be a puzzle-adventure game made as a collaborative effort between the Velocity developers and show creator Steven Knight. Peaky Blinders: Mastermind will be coming to consoles as well as PC, and uses an inventive planning mechanic that lets players plan out their routes before enacting them, similar to the gameplay from John Wick: Hex....
