Three days ago, Square Enix teased a new game, which was scheduled to be unveiled during an “interactive experience” broadcast over the game-focused streaming platform Twitch. Yesterday, the promotion started. It’s called Can’t Kill Progress, and so far consists mainly of a man trapped in a room doing… well, not much of anything. That’s beside the point, however, the game announcement itself leaked earlier today, revealing that Square Enix and Eidos-Montreal are hard at work on a new Deus Ex title called Deus Ex: Mankind Divided....

Mortal Kombat 11’s Aftermath expansion is just a week away, but what’s been revealed about it is insane. Including MK11 Aftermath’s bonuses, prices, DLC characters, and more, it’s a solid expansion many did not see coming despite prior leaks. When I first started playing New Pokemon Snap, I was admittedly pretty excited to see if my favourite starters made the cut. Not just the baby versions either - I wanted to know if Blastoise was there, or Typhlosion, or Primarina. After completing the game and filling out the vast majority of the Photodex - I probably have about two or three ‘mons left to find - I can confirm that the variety of starter Pokemon and their various evolutions in New Pokemon Snap is pretty great....

Publisher Square Enix has officially confirmed that a new Tomb Raider game is in development. The announcement was posted to the Tomb Raider Twitter account. The tweet states that Square Enix is taking a “new approach,” though whether that means a new approach to their announcements, or a new approach to the series is unclear. Light on detail, it goes on to state simply that a new Tomb Raider game is coming, and that fans can expect an official reveal soon with a “major event” in 2018....

We got what could be our final look at Nier Replicant ahead of its 2021 release date during The Game Awards earlier this evening. Square Enix debuted some brand new gameplay of the upcoming remaster, and it looks a whole lot like Nier: Automata. For those who don’t know, Nier Replicant is an alternate version of the original Nier game that was released in Japan back in 2012. The new edition of Nier Replicant - the one shown today - is a remaster of the 2012 version and is slated for a global release, meaning that players in the West will be playing it for the first time....
