Regular players of Overwatch’s competitive game mode have a little time left to make the final push to the next rank. According to a new post from Game Director Jeff Kaplan on the forums, this competitive season will finish up towards the end of May, with season five launching “around the first of June.” Since there’s usually about a week break between one competitive season ending and the next one launching, season four will likely come to an end a little over two weeks from now....

Blizzard’s hero-based shooter Overwatch is unique in that much of the game’s story and lore isn’t found in the game itself, but rather through other media, like animated shorts and comics. While Blizzard has recently started adding more lore in-game, there’s still a lot that Overwatch players may not know about the game world if they haven’t checked out some of the supporting materials. The upcoming co-op zombie shooter Back 4 Blood has a brand new trailer, this time showing off all the new playable characters and their abilities. Turtle Rock Studios’ Left 4 Dead successor was delayed earlier this year and is now set to release in the month of Halloween on October 12. In it, you’ll be playing as a Cleaner, one of eight, and each sport their own unique bonuses. Gearbox continues to churn out new content for Borderlands 3 month to month, as promised. The cooperative shooter’s pipeline of free and premium content drops seems near-endless. Since its release in early 2018, Dragon Ball FighterZ has suffered many issues with its online implementation. When Spider-Man: Freshman Year was first announced in November, 2021 on Disney+ Day, it seemed like it would turn out to be a pretty straightforward animated series.
