Since launching a few weeks ago, Monster Hunter World has been a runaway success for Capcom. The game has already set a new sales record for the company, having shipped over six million units worldwide. Still, there are many fans who would love to take this game on the go with the Nintendo Switch, though Capcom isn’t so keen on the idea. Speaking to Toyo Keizai, Capcom president Haruhiro Tsujimoto was asked about a potential Switch version of Monster Hunter World....

Although Morrowind is a fantastic game overall with lots of great features, the graphics of this 2002 game have aged since its initial release. Luckily, The Elder Scrolls games are known for their large modding scene, which can enhance the game with new quests, items, and graphical upgrades. Many graphics mods have come out over the years, and there is a mod for everything imaginable. Opinions remain incredibly divided on the new Mortal Kombat movie. There isn’t a clear consensus on whether or not it’s good, dumb fun, or an absolute waste of time. However, this hasn’t hurt the it at the box office at all, as Mortal Kombat earned $22.5 million in the United States on its opening weekend. As reported by Deadline, this is enough to put Mortal Kombat in the top spot for the week, just overtaking Demon Slayer, which grossed $19....

Call of Duty: Warzone, the battle royale spin-off of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, is out and it’s incredibly popular. That doesn’t mean that it’s perfect, though. As with other battle royale games, players have a huge variety of criticism of Warzone. Some of that criticism is oddly familiar, such as the conversation surrounding Warzone’s matchmaking system. Ubisoft has now revealed the eighth and final operator of its adjusted second year content for Rainbow Six Siege. The studio had to recalibrate its content schedule to accommodate Operation Health, a massive endeavor to enhance the quality of life within the game and fix several bugs that had plagued the title since its release. Now that 2017 is nearing a close, Rainbow Six Siege is finally poised to catch up to the operator count it had initially intended to be at for the year - and new operator Vigil certainly seems worth the wait....

The PlayStation Network Storefront just leaked Destiny 2’s next season. Bungie has been playing its cards close to its chest when it comes to the next season, set to arrive tomorrow at 1 PM EST. In an unusual twist, Bungie will announce both the fall expansion and details regarding the next season on the same day, providing Guardians with little information on what to expect come Tuesday. Where Bungie fails, Sony apparently provides....

Months after its release, Nier: Automata is continuing to surpass sales expectations. Through its official Twitter account, it was announced that Nier: Automata has sold 1.5 million combined units. The figure combines the numbers of physical units shipped with digital copies sold. It’s worth mentioning that this is up from 1 million combined copies sold in April, with more than 500,000 of those sales coming from Japan and Asia alone. The title is available for both the PC and PS4, but these numbers were not broken down by platform....

If you ever fancied yourself sharp enough to survive as a noir detective, Night Call might be the perfect July release for you. The game, coming to PC on July 17th, styles itself as a neo-noir set in Paris. It takes on the moody black-and-white color scheme that the genre entails, while also delivering a suspenseful mystery that will play out differently each playthrough. That’s thanks to over 70 characters with different backstories that all have something to say, and each one can take a seat in the cab that you drive....

It is very rare to find first-party Nintendo Switch games on sale. However, some of the Nintendo Switch’s best first-party games can now be bought on sale via Google Shopping. This includes The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which can also be purchased via Target’s website at a discounted price of $49.49. 2017’s Super Mario Odyssey is currently on sale as well. After journeying through the deep forest, atop a high mountain, under a vast lake, within the house of the dead, the Spirit Temple acts as the final obstacle in Link’s adventure through time. Hidden in the wastelands of the Gerudo Desert, this temple once served as the headquarters for the Gerudo tribe and is closely linked to Ganondorf’s upbringing. Hosting a variety of deadly enemies and traps, the Spirit Temple takes puzzle ideas from previous dungeons and uses them to challenge the knowledge of the player, along with some clever new ones....

One of Destiny 2’s most powerful perks is getting ready to get nerfed as part of the upcoming sandbox changes coming ahead of Forsaken. During the live test-fire stream, Bungie showcased several weapons that feature random rolls, one of which is the linear fusion rifle Crooked Fang which featured the Box Breathing perk. Unfortunately, it seems that Box Breathing will work a bit differently when the sandbox changes hit Destiny 2....

This review contains Outlander spoilers. This week’s Outlander feels like two episodes in one. Strong performances from the entire cast supported a script that streamlined many book chapters into an hour and 10 minutes. The dysentery outbreak in the first half is seamlessly linked to the shocking cliff-hanger ending through Claire’s hallucinations, but sorry history nerds: the Hamilton song lyric episode title is more about the shocking cliff-hanger than the war!...

When it was first announced, Outriders was seen as just another dystopian shooter. Then the gameplay trailers started rolling out, finally resulting in the demo dropping. From there the hype has built, with some even going so far as to call it the Destiny killer, a bold statement when talking about one of the biggest series in recent years. However, putting aside the obvious cosmetic similarities, the gameplay is actually a far cry from the almost completely action-based title....

Out of every quest in Outriders, Salvation is arguably the most eventful of the bunch—at least from a progression standpoint. This quest unlocks the crafting system and arguably the safest XP and loot farming spot in the game. Whether you’re farming World Tiers or Accolade challenges, you’ll want to take full advantage of this mission’s dense enemy packs and plentiful chests. Blizzard has announced that for the 2020 season of Overwatch League, teams will be playing home and away games, similar to a traditional sports league. This has been a goal of the league for some time now, but Blizzard recently gave some of the specifics of how the setup would work. Overwatch League has technically had city-based teams since it was founded in 2016, with teams like Seoul Dynasty and San Francisco Shock representing different cities around the world....

Overwatch’s Ranked Play appears to be punishing players who disconnect from the game regardless of whether it was accidental or a rage quit but Blizzard says a fix is coming. Overwatch’s Competitive Play Mode rolled out last week on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One to mostly rave reviews. The Ranked Play system lets the game’s most experienced players go head to head for bragging rights and cosmetic items. Blizzard has made clear that the mode should be taken much more seriously than Quick Play, with the developer handing out significant punishment for those who quit in the middle of a match....
