Since its release all the way back in 2016, Blizzard’s popular multiplayer shooter Overwatch has seen countless changes. The biggest of these are the maps, cosmetics, modes and heroes that have been added over the years in an attempt to keep things feeling fresh for casual and competitive players alike. Part of that also involves balancing, where characters are adjusted based on statistics and feedback to ensure a fair and balanced match as much as possible....

Many young American women in gamer and tech circles grew up flipping through American Girl catalogs, reading about and playing with dolls that came with their own backstories. The newest doll to join the ranks is a gamer/programmer named Courtney Moore, who grew up around 1986, the same year that American Girl was founded. 2020 in British TV comedy brought us Maisie Williams as a kickass survivalist in a pickle, and a new parenting comedy from the hugely talented Simon Blackwell and Chris Addison starring Martin Freeman. Daniel Craig will reprise his role as James Bond for one final mission in No Time to Die. Now, the second trailer for the 25th installment of the 007 film series previews Bond’s conflict with a new villainous mastermind who appears to have ties to his greatest enemy and greatest love. Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga from a script he co-wrote with Neal Purvis and Robert Wade and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, No Time to Die will see James Bond coming out of retirement when CIA agent and old friend Felix Leiter disrupts his peaceful life in Jamaica to ask for help in rescuing a kidnapped scientist....

2022 represented Netflix’s 25th (!!) year of operations as a company. Unfortunately, the streamer celebrated its 25th birthday with some earnings losses, massive cancelations, and a whole host of bad press. What will year 26 hold for the little Blockbuster killer that could? We now have a good idea thanks to Netflix’s list of new releases for January 2023. Netflix is kicking off 2023 with some muscular original series…and in one instance we mean literally muscular....

Overwatch’s latest short story confirms that Soldier 76 is totally gay, but couldn’t balance a relationship with his duties as a soldier. Two years after Overwatch lead writer Michael Chu revealed that Tracer was a lesbian in the comic Reflections, Chu once again pulls a big reveal with Soldier 76’s orientation. Surprise! He’s gay. In the short story Bastet, Soldier 76 (who once went by Jack Morrison) teams up with Ana to bring justice to Cairo....
