With what was supposed to be the summer movie season now just another relic of this pandemic-blasted year, and the rest of 2020’s major film releases in a continuing state of flux, it’s important to note that there has still been a fairly steady stream of new films coming out, some in limited theatrical release but others largely available via video on demand and streaming services. With that in mind, and with the customary “opening weekend” a rather fluid and ambiguous term as well, below is a rundown of films we’ve caught in the past month, along with information on where you can find and watch them....

Gilly Island is the fourth world in New Super Lucky’s Tale, and it is also the shortest, containing a mere 18 clovers spread across three levels, plus the hub world. The levels follow the same formula as before, meaning you must collect every L-U-C-K-Y letter, 300 coins, the Hidden Page, and complete the level to attain 100% on that stage. After exiting the hub world for Wrestful Retreat, and before you can enter you will have to fight General Buttons and Lieutenant Fluffinstuff....

Back in 2017, Warner Brothers announced a Nightwing feature film was on its way. The project would serve as an origin story for the masked identity adopted by Dick Grayson after relinquishing his role as Batman’s wisecracking sidekick, Robin. The studio tapped The Lego Batman Movie’s Chris McKay to helm the superhero caper, with a script by Ozark creator Bill Dubuque. Audiences eagerly awaited the beloved addition to the DCEU and the Bat Family, but then… nothing....

Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa has recently confirmed that there will be “many” new games hitting the Nintendo Switch over the coming financial year. This news comes from Nintendo Life, who shared a newly-published Q&A which includes several statements from Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa. One of the more interesting statements is the confirmation that Nintendo is planning to release “many” games this fiscal year: “Many new software titles will be released this fiscal year, starting in the first quarter, which we think will help continuously expand the range of consumers who play Nintendo Switch…”...

Activision confirms that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will not feature many of the co-op modes previously seen in Black Ops III, like a 4-player campaign. Activision is looking to make another big splash later this year as the latest Call of Duty title was finally revealed earlier this week and appears to be bringing some new features to the table. One of the bigger features from last year’s Call of Duty: Black Ops III was the focus on co-op elements, whether from the 4 player local/online Zombies mode or the ability for drop-in, drop-out campaign co-op....

There’s no denying that Oculus Rift, the new 100+ degree field of vision headset coming by way of a Kickstarter campaign, has caught the attention of gamers and developers alike. The idea of being able to experience a game, like id Software’s Doom 3 in such a large field of view, and with no latency problems, definitely sounds like the future, and it’s only a matter of time before more developers hop on board....

After eight years and hundreds of games Robert Cox IV, better known by his Gamertag Stallion83, has finally done it. Cox has become the first Xbox gamer to hit 1 million Gamerscore and added even more padding to his current world record. Early Wednesday night, with only a few hundred points left before hitting 1 million, Cox made the decision to finally go for the milestone in earnest. This past weekend, popular Old School RuneScape content creator Settled posted the latest video in his long-running Swampletics series. The 20+ minute video is fairly standard – with the account finally maxing out both Attack and Strength – but takes an awful twist in the last two minutes. Our beloved hero dies, dropping all his high-level items and forcing a massive reboot of the account. In case you’re not familiar with the Swampletics series, there’s a lot to catch up on....

With only four primary classes in Othercide, you’re going to want to make sure you’re making the most out of each and every one you get. Sure, you will lose daughters here and there no matter what, but knowing how to build your classes to be the best and most effective against the Gothic horrors and monsters the game will throw at you will at least give them a chance at survival....

Just like any good parent, you’ll probably get attached to the daughters you send into battle against the entity known simply as Suffering in the brutal, tactical rogue-lite Othercide. In games of this genre, somewhat like Into the Breach, failure is expected of you as you learn and make incremental progress before time is rewound and you try it all again. Unfortunately, that doesn’t bring back any of the daughters you may have lost on that attempt....

10 Add A Jump Being vertically challenged in a game like Gears of War, something People Can Fly technically worked on, makes sense. In a game like Outsiders though with many tiered levels, it does not make sense to be without a jump. Even Marvel’s Avengers has a jump and/or the better ability to fly. The X button on the PS5, for example, is practically begging to have a jump function booted onto it....

The release date for Overwatch’s newest character Doomfist is finally here, as Blizzard has now made the gauntlet-wielding warrior available on all platforms outside of the team-based shooter’s Public Test Region. Of course, in order to properly bring the melee-heavy offense fighter into the game, the developer also had to put out a fresh patch to ensure that the title remains balanced among all of its various heroes. As seen below in the latest trailer for Overwatch, fans are given a quick insight into the origins of Doomfist’s return, with the character being shown destroying several OR15 defense units at Numbani’s airport terminal before thrusting himself into the middle of the action against the rest of the game’s heroes....

Overwatch players on the PS4 report issues such as lost levels, skins, and other strange occurrences that have still yet to be addressed by developer Blizzard. Sufferers of a very nasty bug that regresses players by taking their levels, ranks, and hard earned skins are still waiting on a solution from Blizzard. These issues were first reported as early as July 10 on the official Overwatch forums, with one player claiming they lost all of their levels and that twenty-two loot boxes they never purchased appeared in their inventory....

In a flashy new video, NRG eSports has revealed its roster of players that will represent San Francisco in the professional Overwatch League. Besides revealing the players on the San Francisco Overwatch team, the video also confirms some high profile new investors, which includes A-list music artist and actress Jennifer Lopez, as well as NRG investor Shaquille O’Neal. Overwatch fans were treated with a surprise map drop yesterday, bringing Free-For-All players some variety while also teasing the future of the franchise. Unsurprisingly, players have also already found out how to escape the map, finding a way to reach the popular Overwatch locale of Hanamura. The glitch discovery comes courtesy of a clever fan skilled with Sombra’s translocator. Going by the Reddit name -Har1eKing-, the Overwatch player throws the damage character’s teleportation device between a small gap to the left of Kanezaka’s ramen shop....
