Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has already been a commercial and critical success through its open-world game mechanics and storytelling. Once players had finished the game there were plenty of calls for more content drawing inspiration from the vast Dragon Ball Z lore. Fortunately, this content is arriving and a loading screen will have fans excited for what is to come. Considering the popularity of Dragon Ball Z, it was unsurprising when a game like Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot which told a tried and tested story alongside interesting fighting mechanics was a commercial success....

Production on Marvel Studios’ The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has resumed following a months-long shutdown prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020. Now, stars Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan have taken to their respective social media accounts to share new behind-the-scenes photos of their antics on the set of the Disney+ series. Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame concluded with Steve Rogers traveling back in time to return the Infinity Stones the team had taken to reverse Thanos’ decimation....

Star Wars: The Old Republic is getting its first update tomorrow, a moderately sized update that will add level 50 bracketing for PvP WarZones, a new Flashpoint for max-level players, a 8-16 player Operation for several skill levels, and a much-needed anti-aliasing feature. Despite various bumps in the road during its first month, it is safe to say that The Old Republic has been a sweeping success so far and that the Star Wars brand is still as strong as ever....

One of the most fun aspects of Super Mario Odyssey is the many different costumes. From going retro in the 64 outfit, to dressing up as Diddy Kong, there are so many options to choose from, making the game an even more enjoyable experience visually. On Twitter, Nintendo has announced a new outfit to be added to the game. It is inspired by one of the Broodal enemies, and available after players beat the main story....

According to a new rumor floating around on ResetEra – we may be getting the PlayStation 5 reveal as early as June. Sony has yet to officially confirm anything about a reveal date, but Jeffrey Grubb of VentureBeat just claimed that June 4 is their current target. Considering that he accurately foretold both dates for Nintendo Direct and Indie World Showcase last month, the rumor shouldn’t be taken too lightly....

The indie smash-hit Minecraft is one of the most popular games around, and the creatures in the game — such as the Creeper — have reached a near-iconic level of fame. While Minecraft’s original mob was enjoyed by many, it’s always nice to see new animals and monsters added to the equation. Since the game’s release both squids and wolves have been added, but now Minecraft creator Markus ‘Notch’ Persson has announced that a new mob called the Endermen will soon be found wandering the blocky countryside....

Old School Runescape’s Leagues are back today with Leagues II - Trailblazer, running until January 6 of next year. To mark the occasion, Old School RuneScape teamed up with content creators J1mmy and 9Rain to create one of the strangest music videos you’ll see this side of Gielinor. Trailblazer is an “alternative fast-paced Old School experience.” You’ll enter the league in Misthalin as an Ironman or Ironwoman, choosing regions to unlock as you progress through the League....

An unopened First Edition box of the original Pokémon cards from 1999 were recently sold at auction for $56,000. On July 27th, Huggins & Scott Auctions put up the card box at a starting bid of $20,000. Bidding continued for over a week until August 10th when the pack was finally sold. $20,000 may seem like a steep price but, aside from the untouched nostalgia, most were after the First Edition holo card featuring Charizard that was in the box....

Overcooked 2 launched back in 2018, but developer Ghost Town Games has continued to support it with regular content updates and DLC. Now those that have yet to jump into Overcooked 2 can pick up Overcooked 2: Gourmet Edition, which includes the base game and all of the previously-released DLC. Last week, Blizzard began teasing the next big event for Overwatch with a cryptic message that some also believed was a nod to the game’s 27th hero. While we’re still waiting for the next event and new hero to be officially announced, Blizzard has teased Overwatch fans yet again, this time with an image that reveal Hero 27’s weapon of choice. The image appears to be schematics for a hammer-like weapon called the SLAGA V....

D.Va has always been one of the most beloved heroes in Overwatch, both inside and outside of the core gameplay of Blizzard’s team shooter. Overwatch boasts an expansive cast of colorful characters from all different nationalities, making the game a popular inspiration for cosplay artists. The game’s large variety of character skins also give cosplayers options to choose which iteration of their favorite hero they will try to recreate, whether that be Immortal Soldier 76 or a Diablo-inspired Demonic Brigitte. One veteran cosplay artist decided to give Widowmaker a shot, and it’s safe to say she did an incredible job....

You’d think that most people would welcome the news of a huge price drop for their game, but not Red Dead Online players, and especially on PC. Cowpokes are concerned that a game priced at just $5 will cause a population influx that brings “hackers and cheaters” along for the ride. Yesterday, Rockstar announced that they’d branch off the multiplayer portion of Red Dead Redemption 2 into its own standalone game called Red Dead Online....

Capcom has revealed the unique gear that players can acquire from the Monster Hunter Rise Amiibo, which includes outfits for the hunter, their Palamute, and their Palico. In the Monster Hunter series, the player character never levels up or gains stat points. Instead, their progression is tied to their armor and weapon. The passive abilities and buffs used by characters can only be acquired through equipment sets. This meant that hunters had to choose between aesthetics and power in the old Monster Hunter games, as the best armor wasn’t always pretty....
