A little over a month ago, Focus Home Interactive introduced us to Necromunda: Hired Gun, a brand new first-person shooter set in the world of Warhammer 40K. Unlike previous shooters set in this universe, Necromunda forgoes the usual Space Marine protagonists and instead puts you in a hellish Imperial Hive world as a bounty hunter where your targets are more human than alien. Although, given how Necromundans are all about splicing on metal parts wherever they can, I wouldn’t blame you for mistaking these humans as anything but....

Publisher Square Enix has just announced that the action role-playing game NEO: The World Ends with You is set to release on July 27, 2021 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. A PC version of the game will be also be released on the Epic Games Store sometime this summer. From today, you can already get your pre-orders in for both digital and physical versions for the PS4, as well as for the physical version for the Nintendo Switch....

The lovable, chilled-out game of 2020, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, is about to receive another clothing line, but this time, it’s from Japanese brand UNIQLO. The company will join an island full of other existing clothing lines for the franchise, with an innovative way of promoting involved. Last year saw the release of two New Horizons-themed clothing lines, one from Gelato Pique and the other courtesy of BlackMilk Clothing. While the former line offered cosy sleepwear designed with Timmy and Tommy’s faces, the latter boasted airy, summer clothing featuring subtle prints of Tom Nook and friends....

Artists and Jackbox fans rejoice! A new drawing game is coming to The Jackbox Party Pack 7. The new game is called “CHAMP’D UP,” and it pits user-drawn champions against one another. “CHAMP’D UP” is a drawing game where players draw two characters that will compete against other characters in wacky challenges. Each player will draw a favorite character and an underdog character. When playing the favorite, players will know which challenges favorite characters are competing in....

Square Enix’s Avengers Project, now producing a game officially dubbed Marvel’s Avengers, was shown tonight during Square Enix’s E3 press conference and gave the world its first official glimpse at the game. The new Marvel’s Avengers trailer begins with a celebration of Avengers day that quickly gives way to a catastrophe that results in the Avengers (Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, and Black Widow) being disbanded. Rumors suggested that Marvel’s Avengers would feature 4-player co-op, and by the new E3 2019 trailer, this seemed like a possibility that was later confirmed during the show....

Bandai Namco has announced that Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom - Prince’s Edition will be heading to the Nintendo Switch on September 17, 2021, for both the US and Europe. After an errant ESRB rating was spotted earlier this month indicating the possibility of a port, the company outright confirmed everyone’s speculation and even provided a new trailer. As the extended title implies, this version of Ni No Kuni 2 will be a “complete” package with all DLC included....

It’s been a long time coming, but Nier Replicant is finally in the home stretch. After receiving a rating in Taiwan earlier in the month we were promised Nier Replicant news at the Tokyo Games Show, and it looks like Square has delivered. Not only were we treated to a brand new trailer from the online event, but we also got handed a release date. Nier Replicant will arrive on April 22, 2021 in Japan, and April 23 in North America and Europe....

If you never even heard about the Nightmare Creatures remake that has been in the works for a few years, you’re not alone… which makes the cancellation of the project even less surprising. According to a tweet from game developer, Albino Moose Games, who had been working on the title since 2017, the remake has been officially shelved. The Game Developer Conference (GDC) shared the findings of their State of the Industry: Work From Home Edition Survey, which shows the effect the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has had on the games industry. The survey was made up of nearly 2,500 game developers and revealed that, like most other businesses, the majority of the games industry’s workers have switched to working from home.
