In this game, which inspired many roguelikes afterward, players take on the role of the Rogue, who descends into the Dungeons of Doom in pursuit of the legendary Amulet of Yendor....

The video game release schedule for 2016 gets a little more terrifying, as developer Red Barrels shows off the first image of the upcoming horror sequel Outlast 2. Path of Exile’s 3.13 expansion has officially been delayed due to the launch date of Cyberpunk 2077. With the recent announcement from CD Projekt Red that Cyberpunk’s release date was being pushed back 21 days from its original November 19 release date, Path of Exile developers have decided to make time for their players to get their hands on the new game. Originally, Path of Exile’s 3.13 expansion was set to launch on December 11, and while the developer is still confident they’d make that goal, Cyberpunk’s new December 10 release date has complicated things....

Mortal Kombat has a long and storied history as a gaming franchise, and the most iconic fighter on its roster has always been none other than the famed Shirai Ryu ninja, Scorpion. Mortal Kombat 11 is set to launch its big Aftermath expansion in just a few days time, and so NetherRealm has been releasing new trailers for the new DLC characters. New Fujin and RoboCop trailers have already been released, and so NetherRealm has now released a trailer for Sheeva, the third and final new character coming to the popular fighting game as part of Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath. Neil Gaiman, creator of critically acclaimed comic book The Sandman recently announced that Netflix’s adaptation of the story would officially begin shooting very soon. The five don’t know each other and aren’t sure how they got there or who brought them, but one thing is clear: each of them is a mutant, a human being enhanced or endowed with extraordinary powers, representing the next stage of evolution for humankind. The New Mutants is a spin-off of Fox’s long-running X-Men series of films and based on the classic Marvel comic book created in 1982 by writer Chris Claremont and artist Bob McLeod to showcase a new, younger group of mutants within the existing X-Men canon....
