Mario games have always been a haven for silly humor, spanning through the decades each title has its fair share of quips spread throughout the game. The Paper Mario games really capitalize on this part of the series, taking the player out of the more intensive main series and into a light-hearted, joyous world. For better or worse, Origami King slides some of its best jokes in amongst non-essential content. Leaving the opportunity for the less exploratory players to miss some of the best lines in the game....

Grinding Gear Games has been on a roll recently with the release of some outstanding looking cosmetics, artwork, and the newest patch for Path of Exile. For starters, patch 3.11.1 was deployed earlier in the week for PC and will be available for consoles any day now. The new patch brings major changes to both Harvest and its crafting. Tier 2-4 and the Heart of the Grove monsters and bosses will now drop plantable “seeds” for use in the Sacred Grove....

The Monster Hunter series has become one of Capcom’s most successful properties since it began in 2004, with every new entry introducing whole ecosystems of creatures to track and defeat. Ever since NetherRealm Studios released Mortal Kombat 11’s story-based DLC, Aftermath in May, fans have been wondering what the game’s future content has in store. MultiVersus entered Open Beta on July 26, complete with two new characters: The Iron Giant and LeBron James. In the latest update for the popular MOBA Heroes of the Storm, Blizzard adds Diablo 2 necromancer Xul to the quickly expanding roster of playable characters. Blizzard’s MOBA, Heroes of the Storm, continues to expand by adding characters from as many of their franchises as possible. Just recently, the action RPG franchise Diablo has been in the spotlight with Diablo 3 wizard Li-Ming joining the burgeoning character roster. Not content to just add one Diablo hero into the mix, fans can now purchase another popular character from the series, as the Diablo 2 necromancer Xul joins the fight today in the latest game update....

The Pokemon Company somehow made Pikachu even more adorable and Gengar cute with these new sleeping plushies from Takara Tomy. They’re not cheap, however. Each plush costs 11,000 yen, which is approximately $105. That’s not even counting shipping, and that’s going to be expensive as they are fairly big. According to Nintendo Soup, the Pikachu plush is 36 x 74 x 32 cm, while the Gengar is at 50 x 44 x 51 cm....

GungHo Online’s Nintendo Switch arena brawler Ninjala has moved past the 4 million mark in terms of downloads. The grand opening of Super Nintendo World in Japan will now not happen until the spring of 2021 at the very earliest. 2020 was supposed to be the year that Mario fans would get a place where they could make a Nintendo pilgrimage. No Man’s Sky creator Sean Murray reveals that upgraded PS4 console the PS4 Neo could “fundamentally change” the experience of the much hyped space exploration game. Prior to E3, Sony confirmed that an upgraded PS4 is currently in the works. According to rumors, not only does this PS4 model – which has been codenamed PS4 Neo – feature a faster CPU but it’s also being suggested that the console will feature more RAM as well....

Voice actor Nolan North isn’t all that pumped over the prospect of an Uncharted movie but he says he’s pretty excited about the announcement regarding the TV show based on The Last Of Us. North has lent his voice to plenty of videogames, including the Uncharted series, a title in which he voices the main character, Nathan Drake. North was speaking on the Retro Replay YouTube channel, where he discussed the aforementioned Naughty Dog titles, having played through TLOU on the show back in November....
