A new music file damamined from the latest Overwatch PTR patch has players speculating over what Blizzard might have in store for the upcoming Summer Games 2017 event. Up until now its been assumed that Lucioball, the popular soccer Brawl from 2016, would be returning after earlier datamines found the files for the game mode ready and waiting. This latest music file points toward a decidedly more intense direction for the Brawl....

The time is upon us again for a new Overwatch character to be added to the fray. Thanks to a number of hints by Blizzard, fans were able to theorize that Brigitte Lindholm would soon become the 27th character playable in Overwatch, and they were correct! Blizzard has recently been seen dropping hints on social media, including a tweet highlighting a dispatch from Egyptian sharpshooter Ana Amari detailing a mission that’d had some complications featuring Reinhardt, Torbjorn, and a Private First Class by the name of Emre Sarioglu (who is not currently in the game)....

Virtual reality is thought to be the future of gaming by many, but the headsets capable of running triple-A style games often require bulky cables and wires running all throughout the setup to actually display an image. Oculus announced the Quest, their wireless version of VR, and it now appears Sony may have something up its sleeve for its Playstation VR 2 too if a new patent filing is to be believed....

This weekend started with an alleged leak that Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment and its publisher EA are set to announce a new Titanfall battle royale game this weekend with a release of the free-to-play battle royale on Monday, February 4. More details of the rumored game have now surfaced, which paint the picture of a battle royale game that is part Titanfall and part Overwatch. According to Rod Breslau, who was one of the first to leak the information about the game online, the title of Respawn’s upcoming battle royale game is Apex Legends and it will release for PC, PS4, and Xbox One....

Microsoft was just as ready as everyone else to kick off 2021 and did so a bit early with the Xbox Live Gold subscription service, releasing its first two free games of the year a day early on December 31. Since launch, Mortal Kombat 11 has been praised for its gameplay, but criticized for a number of other things.
