Talsorian Games has announced a brand new way to play the company’s flagship series, specifically with the most recent version titled Cyberpunk Red that looks at the Dark Future in the years following Cyberpunk 2020. This newest game is coming as a collaboration with Monster Fight Club who will be creating a miniature game that increases the standard pace in the tabletop version of Cyberpunk. The new game, titled Cyberpunk Red: Combat Zone, is being developed by Monster Fight Club, a team of veteran model builders who make miniatures to enhance the tabletop setups for Dungeons & Dragons, Cyberpunk Red, and other pen and paper RPGs....

Premier esports organizations NRG and FaZe Clan are reportedly looking to join League of Legends Champions Korea, according to Korean news outlet Fomos. It was announced back in April that the LCK would be following in the footsteps of the LPL, LEC, and LCS by introducing long-term franchising to the world-renown esports league in 2021. Teams who are interested in joining the LCK must submit an application by June 19th, 2020....

NVIDIA’s research into artificial intelligence has produced a number of really cool AI-powered tools, one of the most recent ones being the so-called StyleGAN2, which could very well revolutionize image generation as we know it. StyleGAN2 was presented by NVIDIA at this year’s (virtual) Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition which took place in the middle of June. They aired a video showcasing the StyleGAN2 in action - viewable here - and dang, is it cool....

Today at E3 2017, head of Xbox Phil Spencer revealed a big announcement regarding the Xbox One backward compatibility system. Microsoft is now working on bringing original Xbox games to the Xbox One’s backward compatibility library. According to Spencer, Xbox engineers are currently hard at work adapting the Xbox One to be able to play original Xbox games. Although he didn’t offer an initial line-up of games that will release for the system, fan-favorite Crimson Skies is confirmed to be coming to the Xbox One via backward compatibility....

Development studio People Can Fly turned more than a few heads with the Outriders demo. Players explored a bit of what the overall narrative offers, ultimately throwing them into a hellish reality that offers a stark contrast to its laid-back intro. Overwatch is filled with a wide variety of heroes from many different places all around the world. The next hero to be added alongside the release of Overwatch 2 will be former Overwatch captain, Sojourn. Sojourn has appeared in multiple pieces of Overwatch media even before her reveal as an upcoming playable hero. Earlier designs for her character have appeared in both the “Recall” animated short and the video for Ana’s origin story....

Overwatch added Hero 30, a healer character named Baptiste, back in March. Four months removed from Baptiste’s debut, and fans are anxious to see what’s next for Blizzard’s hero-based shooter. Details are still light on exactly what Hero 31 will entail for Overwatch, but in the game’s latest Developer Update, game director Jeff Kaplan teased the new character. After a very long wait, Pedro Pascal is finally returning to TV screens this year. In an upcoming fan-favorite sci-fi series, Pascal’s character must protect a child as they embark on a perilous journey with danger around every corner. No, we don’t mean the third season of Star Wars spin-off The Mandalorian. Rather, Pascal will be teaming with Bella Ramsey for the video game adaptation The Last of Us, which hits HBO later this month....
