Capcom is having a modern resurgence. Franchises including Resident Evil and Monster Hunter have found ways to reach new audiences and new levels of success. But now it seems that Capcom’s lost one the talents that have been behind part of that resurgence. Daisuke Ichihara, the director of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, has now confirmed that they’ve departed Capcom. Ichihara has already confirmed that his next destination is the ILCA, where he’ll be directing game development....

As the game industry is deep in the throes of remakes and remasters, the title Monster World 4 is receiving a remake from developer Artdink called Wonder Boy - Asha In Monster World. Its release date is scheduled for sometime in March 2021, but a recent rating from the ESRB shows that fans may be getting more than was bargained for. Monster World 4 is part of the Wonder Boy/Monster World franchise that originally began in the arcades in 1986....

Mortal Kombat 11 is sadly reaching the end of its life cycle. But although NetherRealm has already released the secondary story mode Aftermath, various DLC characters, and few other new features, we’re still due one more DLC pack before the studio moves on to a new game. Movie Games Lunarium, a game publisher from Warsaw, Poland, will launch Lust from Beyond, a first-person horror-erotica game inspired by H.P. Lovecraft, Zdzisław Beksiński and H.R. Giger, on September 24. The indie studio has just released its first trailer, a NSFW compilation that showcases some of the first-person game’s subversive psychological and occult themes. Lust from Beyond, which was successfully crowdfunded on Kickstarter in 10 hours, tells the tale of Victor Holloway, an antiquarian who is tormented by sinister visions of a hellish nightmare....

Disney is working on a National Treasure television series, it has been revealed. Disney’s parks have been heavily hit by COVID-19, losing $1 billion after they were forced to close in March, but the company’s streaming service Disney Plus has been hugely successful. Speaking to Collider, National Treasure Series Producer Jerry Bruckheimer confirmed that he is making a National Treasure TV series for Disney Plus. The script for the show’s pilot has been completed, said Bruckheimer, and there is “an outline of the future episodes....

What could be the first official sign of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s forthcoming announcement may have appeared courtside at tonight’s Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder NBA game. Nintendo has made a move to allow slight changes to the Switch, including a faster processor and better storage.
