There’s no doubt that Star Wars Battlefront is one of the most highly-anticipated games of the year, and will possibly be one of EA’s biggest blockbuster titles to date. In a world where certain developers appear to be more open to working with each other, Nintendo is still showing signs that it doesn’t play well with others. That said, even Nintendo is letting up a little bit. Mario Kart Tour is the first game in the franchise to be released on anything other than a Nintendo console, and fighters from other franchises are gradually creeping onto the Smash roster....
Platinum Games designer Yasuhisa Taura shares details on the development of the upcoming Nier sequel, suggesting that the game is largely the studio’s doing. Many were surprised to hear that a sequel to the underappreciated action RPG Nier was in development when it was announced at E3 earlier this year. Now there’s word that the game is much more of a Platinum Games production than previously expected — something that should please fans of the highly acclaimed Osaka-based studio....

Obtaining the best gear in Outriders will require players to complete Expeditions, endgame missions that grant loot based on how quickly you clear the mission. With 15 Challenge Tiers to climb, these missions can prove extremely difficult at greater difficulties. Colosseum is one of the more challenging Expeditions in Outriders. In the time leading up to Mortal Kombat 11’s gameplay reveal, the rumor mill was churning that Ronda Rousey would be voicing Sonya Blade. And when it was revealed that she was invited to the gameplay event, this rumor seemed all but confirmed. Now, we now know that Sony Blade is, in fact, voiced by the famous WWE superstar.
