The Overwatch anniversary event is into its last week and fans finally have an answer to whether or not the new dancing emotes will be available in regular loot boxes from this point on. Each hero’s unique, Epic-rarity emote will be restricted to this once-a-year time slot, so if players don’t get the dancing collectables in the next few days, they’ll likely have to wait until 2018 to collect them again....
Overwatch director Jeff Kaplan may think that the multiplayer shooter is currently balanced, but this hasn’t stopped the development team from continually tweaking and improving things in the game. The latest PTR patch sees a series of new balance changes be introduced for Doomfist, McCree, Reaper, and Zarya, as well as an update in regards to reported issues with Reinhardt. It is no surprise that the development team are still fine-tuning Doomfist’s abilities given how he is the newest character to be introduced into Overwatch, and the newest PTR update sees two big changes made to the hero....
At BlizzCon 2017, Blizzard unveiled a brand new map coming to the team-based shooter Overwatch called “Blizzard World,” which is a theme park inspired by the universes of other games from the publisher and developer. The area was originally set to arrive “early this year,” but if game director Jeff Kaplan has his way, then the forthcoming map and all of its content will arrive before January closes out. This much was revealed in an Overwatch forum post, as Kaplan replied to a user who had been wondering exactly when they should expect the game’s new Blizzard World map and its skins to go live....

Monster Hunter World has already gotten a fair amount of post-launch downloadable content. Recently, Capcom gave away plenty of free loot to players in order to celebrate the game’s impressive sales milestone and there have also been several new post-launch quests. Mortal Kombat 11 game director Ed Boon has been posting cryptic tweets, with many assuming that he is building up to the reveal of a new MK11 DLC character. The character still has yet to be revealed, but Boon has been responding to some fans on Twitter to debunk some of their theorized characters. Disney’s 20th Century Studios is moving forward with plans to revive the Predator film series with a fifth installment of the franchise.
